[Music] what’s up you guys it is Graham right here so buckle your seatbelts women and gents I hope you are sitting down for this one on this channel we have talked about one of the best bank cards to get free stuff one of the best bank cards without spending a dime journey one of the best bank cards for freshmen however now and again I see an injustice and now we have to take a stand for this or truly I believe sit now we have to sit for this so with that mentioned I’ll be calling out and exposing the worst bank cards at the moment out there the playing cards that nobody ought to ever get ever underneath any circumstances these are the playing cards that you simply would not need to want in your worst enemy and after hours of great grueling analysis digging deep into the interwebs of bank card presents studying dozens of pages of superb print sacrificing my e mail to get previous safety partitions and consuming plenty of avocado toast I’ve uncovered the 5 worst bank cards at the moment out there that anybody may ever get that is it and likewise I actually bought to warn everybody that this video could be upsetting to a few of our extra delicate or youthful viewers as a result of these bank card presents are simply unhealthy they’re actually unhealthy so with that mentioned ensure that to softly smash that like button and we are going to rely down on the 5 worst bank cards at the moment out there that I used to be capable of finding on the Web alright so coming in at quantity 5 now we have the credit score one bank card now you could be pondering to your self right here wait a second grand this appears to be like actually acquainted I really feel like I’ve I’ve seen this earlier than someplace and what you are most likely proper since you’ve both been consistently throwing out these mailers that they ship you each different day for years now for bank card presents otherwise you’re realizing that they are mainly only a knockoff counterfeit off-brand bootleg model of one other firm many individuals confuse them with Capital One even copy that little swoop and all the things like if I did this in highschool I might for positive be despatched house for plagiarism no credit score one is just about an organization for individuals who have horrible credit score prior bankruptcies foreclosures or some other credit score points who mainly have nowhere else to go if they need a bank card and due to that Capital One oh I imply credit score one is a bit just like the mischievious youngster who will get away with each factor when their dad and mom aren’t wanting and this has evidently observed that after I was doing a little analysis on them I discovered over 2300 recorded complaints in opposition to them on shopper affairs many individuals say that they’ve had points making funds on-line forcing them to pay by cellphone and incur extra fees additionally they say closing a bank card is almost unattainable right here is one among their many raving latest evaluations cancelled the cardboard and so they shipped one other it is it is it is laborious as a result of you possibly can’t even make this up like ah I crammed out the applying for this card was authorized after which bought charged for an annual price activation price and processing price cancelled card three months later was referred to as and advised I owed annual price and late fees they’re mainly only a firm that trolls folks all day lengthy however by way of the specifics to the cardboard when you join this you will discover an annual price of as much as seventy-five {dollars} for the primary yr after that you’re going to pay as much as ninety 9 {dollars} yearly simply to maintain the cardboard after that and so far as bank card curiosity goes I imply it is typical of any form of actually bank card and that will be twenty 5 level 9 9 % APR however what as they are saying each cloud has a silver lining and with this bank card you get one % cashback so when you now suppose what after that doozy how can it get any worse than that properly what I bought some horrible horrible information for you as a result of it will get lots worse as a result of I current to you the primary Premier Financial institution gold bank card and that is gonna be a sketchy one when a no-name bank card places gold within the identify of the bank card to make it sound a bit bit extra prestigious now this bank card just like the final one is absolutely designed for individuals who have horrible credit score also called we all know you will have nowhere to run so we’re simply gonna take all your cash so I then went to their web site to begin doing a little analysis and their web site is mainly a time capsule from 2002 and now I am probably not positive who designed their web site most likely a third-grader however this brings again some stable recollections an AOL dial-up now I gotta hand it to it as a result of this firm is fairly intelligent for hiding all of their superb print within the phrases and situations which let’s be actual like nobody truly reads this however me as a result of it is like Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. and I am sitting there late at night time on my laptop studying superb print cuz I’ve nothing higher to do but when I did not learn that superb print I would not have came upon why this bank card is simply so unhealthy initially they bought a 95 greenback one-time setup price to open off the bank card that is mainly the worth of 15 subway footlong sandwiches and after that they cost you month-to-month simply as your price for retaining the bank card open and once more that is lowered out of your whole credit score restrict simply because they will know when you suppose that may’t get any worse simply bear in mind these simply worsen as I’m going alongside however that’s as a result of they cost you a 36% rate of interest my anxiousness studying that simply is thru the roof along with that additionally they cost you 36% curiosity on money advances however wait there’s extra additionally they cost you an $eight or a 5% transaction price on prime of that mainly no matter is the costliest possibility for you they’re gonna cost however do not you are worried we’re not performed but as a result of they’ve minimize a couple of different methods up their sleeve here is one among their soiled little secrets and techniques that you do not know till you learn their superb print when you’ve been working actually laborious on increase your credit score and dangle it off on time in full and also you suppose that you’ve got graduated now to have $100 credit score line improve properly guess what they’re gonna be charging you a $25 price for growing your credit score restrict mainly they take 25% of your $100 credit score line improve as a result of they will so by now you are mainly broke however what they don’t seem to be performed with you fairly but they know that you simply nonetheless have a bit bit extra money that you could fork over to them in order that’s why they determine to impose a $35 price for specific supply of your bank card so by now they mainly simply bled you drive as a result of you don’t have any extra money left you are broke they have all of your cash you’ve got used your whole credit score line to repay all the charges that they impose on you and to make issues worse they do not even provide you with any rewards in any way for doing so in order that was sufficient for me and I used to be about to click on off the web site and was graced with an exquisite pop-up advert only one last-ditch effort to take my cash that is mainly simply the grownup model of a bully in school making an attempt to take your lunch cash so let’s now hold happening this rabbit gap a bit bit additional and when you suppose to your self Graham how can it get any worse it could’t proceed to worsen properly I’ve bought some unhealthy information for you I used to be doing a little analysis and I got here throughout a really very particular bank card and that’s the Continental Finance MasterCard reflex card they name it fist as a result of your pure reflex is to run away whenever you see simply how unhealthy this bank card is and that is going to be a superb one whenever you take a look at the highest of the display and see an settle for mail supply possibility yep so just about that is a kind of junk mailers that you simply get that claims you are pre-approved for one among their premium bank cards so I began off by doing a little analysis to learn their superb print and I continued doing extra analysis to attempt to learn their superb print and I continued doing that and I continued doing that I began getting deeper and deeper and deeper and I could not discover it now they’re very particular about who they determine to share their phrases and situations with now let me clarify in an effort to see the small print it is advisable fill in all your info and mainly as soon as they’ve all of your info you are within the system and you’ll’t cover anymore and the complaints in opposition to this firm do not lie as soon as they have your cellphone quantity they name you continuous like that ex-girlfriend who simply will not go away you alone now fortunately it was capable of finding the superb print after plenty of looking on Google and that is what it’s initially there is a twenty 9 level 9 9 % annual rate of interest mainly we may simply name it thirty % however they know that placing twenty 9 level 9 9 simply makes it look like lots much less they don’t seem to be silly subsequent there is a 100 and twenty 5 greenback annual price for the primary yr that is deducted out of your whole credit score line so in the event that they’re good and determine to provide you a 5 hundred greenback credit score line properly mainly now you will have truly a 300 and seventy 5 greenback credit score line sneaky-sneaky you then’ve bought one among their fantastic $120 a yr annual upkeep charges as a result of paying 9 level 9 9 % curiosity simply is not sufficient subsequent there is a 5 greenback or 5 % money advance price which ever is larger I imply no matter is mainly extra worthwhile for them and at last they’re gonna be charging you a ten greenback price for a cellphone fee that is proper a cellphone fee is ten {dollars} I am gonna cry now why anybody truly decides to get this bank card is is simply I do not know I do not get it if anybody on the market watching this has this bank card please clarify to me within the feedback under why you bought this bank card simply let me know I believe inquiring minds have to know this how that ever got here to be it is a unhealthy one however we nonetheless bought two extra now these final two bank cards may not benefit from these with poor credit score who’ve actually nowhere else to go to attempt to construct their credit score and switch their lives round they went for a barely completely different angle as a substitute and for that gotta give them credit score for it get it credit score now I am positive the interior dialog of those final two bank cards went one thing like this let’s not benefit from individuals who have horrible credit score with nowhere else to go that is been overdone everybody’s doing that proper now as a substitute let’s go for a distinct angle let’s benefit from folks have a bit bit of cash by tricking them into pondering that they are getting an expensive bank card however as a substitute from the way in which I see it that is mainly only a low-cost knockoff model of the American Categorical black card that does not have any worthwhile redeeming qualities about it and so they marketed this card very strategically to make it appear extra unique than it actually is that they’re mainly making an attempt to market this bank card to look very upscale and fancy so what this isn’t going to do let’s let’s change this to match this bank card alright so let’s try their web site and see simply how fancy this one is now simply try this web site that is incredible take a look at that yo you must hold scrolling hold scrolling look oh and it strikes that is oh take a look at that it is a very fancy web site mainly bank cards at the moment are realizing that black is the brand new gold and by making a black bank card they suppose that folks affiliate them with exclusivity and wealth when in actuality that is only a very poor credit card now to begin they cost you a 4 hundred and 5 greenback annual price which I it is cheaper than the MX platinum okay superb I will give them that however in return for paying 4 hundred ninety 5 {dollars} they go away you excessive and dry with only a $100 journey credit score they then provide you with two factors on journey for each $1 spent or they’re gonna redeem that for one and a half % cashback additionally they throw in Precedence Go lounge entry that mainly now each different bank card will get that does not cost you for 100 ninety 5 {dollars} however okay no matter on that one now what makes issues worse past simply making an attempt to pretend being an Amex black card is that they do not even give you a signup bonus as a result of they’re pondering that wealthy individuals who get black bank cards should not must care about signup bonuses anyway now properly this bank card is not scammy it is simply plain silly now to dramatically higher playing cards on this are simply the Chase Sapphire Reserve and American Categorical Platinum and so they will not make you appear like you are making an attempt to flex an Amex black card by simply getting a MasterCard black card and at last with out additional ado now we have the primary worst bank card that you could get and in the case of this card that is the epitome of I’ve a lot cash I do not know what I am about to do with it additionally I am simply gonna get this that’s the MasterCard Gold Card for the low annual price of 9 hundred and ninety 5 {dollars} sure I despatched it 9 hundred and ninety 5 {dollars} you get a 24 karat gold plated bank card now some folks could be pondering properly it is sensible if it is a thousand {dollars} as a result of your bank card is gold-plated 24 karat gold in fact that is that is bought to be price some huge cash proper what probably not as a result of gold plating makes use of such a minut quantity of gold that just about the gold content material of that card is virtually nugatory however what at the least on the brilliant aspect you could possibly say that you’ve got spent 9 hundred and ninety 5 {dollars} on a 24 karat gold-plated bank card since you did not know what to do with all your earnings from bit Join fortunately just like the final one they have a really tremendous fancy web site and so they’re very up entrance with their phrases so it is pretty simple to see what they provide so this saved me plenty of time from doing digging and analysis and these are what their phrases are for the very low annual price of 9 hundred ninety 5 {dollars} that was sarcasm they offer you a 200 greenback airline credit score which remains to be 100 {dollars} lower than the Chase Sapphire reserve and that is solely 450 {dollars} per yr additionally they provide you with again two % on airline redemptions or they provide the choice to take two % money again which let’s be actual that makes completely no sense that the airline redemption is the very same because the money redemption as a result of at that it simply is sensible simply to do the money so it is like saying what would you somewhat have would you somewhat have a 200 greenback reward card to focus on or 200 ollars money it is like come on man give me the money now in all equity it does supply a couple of different fascinating perks that many different bank cards do not supply particularly 10% off of providers and shops that I might by no means ever store at oh and I additionally forgot it additionally presents you an unique subscription to Members Solely luxurious journal to point out you all the luxurious stuff that you could go and purchase since you’ve simply spent 9 hundred and ninety 5 {dollars} on a gold-plated bank card apart from that that is just about it it does not actually give you anything that you simply could not already get from nearly some other bank card on the market I additionally could not discover any form of signup bonus on the market I imply you suppose when you’re spending practically a thousand {dollars} to get a bank card they might present a bit mercy and provide you with a couple of factors or one thing however nope nothing as a substitute they simply go away you feeling unhappy empty and disenchanted and since this card price you a thousand {dollars} I needed to put this because the primary worst bank card on the market as a result of who spends a thousand {dollars} a yr on a gold-plated bank card why there’s just about no motive to do that it’s possible you’ll as properly as a substitute simply donate $1,00zero to me so I can go and put all of it on black on the roulette desk and probably double it then go and put it on this bank card so with that mentioned you guys thanks a lot for watching I actually recognize it if you have not already ensure that to smash that subscribe by the Spanish that like button be at liberty so as to add me on snapchat and Instagram I submit right here just about every day so if you wish to be part of it there be at liberty so as to add me there thanks good for watching and till subsequent time

And the message is not only a hey guys, I hope you guys have an incredible 2019. It isn’t simply hey, thank
you for supporting me and being a subscriber. Nevertheless it’s a reasonably severe matter truly and it is one thing that,
severe matters on my weblog, on the podcast, right here
on the YouTube channel, I are inclined to steer clear of. And by severe I imply issues like politics and faith, I imply these
belongings you get elsewhere and typically you do not even
ask for that kinda stuff and also you see it pop up. However there is a severe problem
on the market that I needed to debate slightly bit
as a result of on this letter, I used to be reminded about
how necessary typically we do not even understand we will
be within the lives of others. And I am not gonna share any names. I am not gonna learn this letter to you however primarily on this letter,
this individual was telling me how they have been having a
very, very, very powerful time, the roughest time of their life, and so they have been considering suicide. And psychological points and psychological well being is one thing that has come up

occasions which have occurred around the globe, with
a whole lot of latest passing of quite a few folks
who’ve been coping with psychological well being points. And I simply needed to speak about this as we speak and floor this problem
for quite a few causes. Primary, associated to this letter, I cried once I learn this letter
as a result of I did not even know who this individual was and
but I used to be nonetheless in a position to have an effect on extending their life. And I do not say this to
kind of brag about that. That in no way. I say this as a result of all of us have the flexibility to assist others and help others within the tough occasions that they
could be having of their life. And that is why it is necessary to indicate up while you’re a enterprise proprietor
and you are a content material creator, to indicate up, as a result of
folks want you in ways in which you do not even know and can’t fathom or perceive typically. Individuals want encouragement,
they want help, they should know there
are different folks like them. And I would like you to know that
I’ve handled my fair proportion, particularly once I was youthful,
of psychological well being points. I’ve been grateful to have
and obtain a whole lot of help associated to these issues,
particularly from family and friends members. And crucial
a part of this message is simply to maintain going. I do know a whole lot of you’re creating content material and it could actually seem to be a battle typically and also you have a look at the numbers
and possibly they don’t seem to be as excessive as you need them to be. However each single quantity
in your electronic mail checklist, in your subscriber depend,
your follower depend, each single like that you just get, even when it is one like,
that is one human being whose life you might have an influence on. And there are folks
on the market on this world and as linked as we
are on-line, particularly, that want you, they want you. And I would like you to know additionally
that if you’re scuffling with something and also you
want a pal or someone to talk to or help you,
simply know that I am right here for you as effectively. And I am simply saying that out loud. If it’s good to speak, if

Flynn are right here to help you and the neighborhood is right here to help you. And I simply need you to
know going into 2019 that as unhealthy as issues could seem at occasions, you at all times know you’ve got
people who find themselves there, who love you, who help you. And regardless that you may
be watching this proper now and maybe we have by no means even met earlier than, simply know that there is not less than this group and sure many different folks similar to me who’re there eager to
help you and look after you, who will love you, who will converse to you. In case you want a shoulder to
cry on, I am right here for you. If it’s good to speak
one thing out, let me know. I care, I care, and there

Dan Lok: 5 High Income Talents That Made Him Over $10M – NO COLLEGE REQUIRED!

– How’s it going guys? Welcome back to the channel. So I’m here with a man
that needs, probably, no introduction on this
channel here, Dan Lok. You just passed one million subscribers on
YouTube, that’s correct? – Correct, yeah one million subscribers. – That’s absolutely unbelievable so congratulations on that.
– Thank you, thank you. – So I’m out here in Vancouver hanging out with Dan Lok this weekend. I’m a student of HTC and I met
Dan through a mutual friend and he’s been somebody I’ve
been following on YouTube for quite a long time, as I’m
sure many of you guys have and I was really looking
to learn more from Dan about what he’s doing,
kind of, his mindset versus my mindset currently
and the difference between my six figure mindset and then the eight figure online mindset. And so that’s pretty much what
I’ve been looking to learn from Dan, is kinda absorb
some of that mindset and understanding what
he’s doing differently. Well what I wanna talk first
is focusing on your story because I think you have
a very interesting story about how it all started, so
maybe we could start with that. – Well my story is, I
was born in Hong Kong and I immigrated to Canada years ago when I was 14 years old. And because I was getting
into a lot of trouble when I was a kid right. I was getting into fights
and I wasn’t going to school and was hanging around
with the wrong people. – Sure.
– And eventually, my dad was like, hey, you
know, you can’t stay here. So, we immigrated and so
immigrating here at 14 and then my mom and dad got divorced when I was 16 years old. And so from there my mom and me here living in a one bedroom
apartment at the time, in Surrey, which is not so good city, part in this city right. And so, at a young age I
have always been very driven because I wanted to take care of my mom. – Sure.
– We didn’t have a lot of money and so very young age I started my first business when I was in high
school, just landscaping, mowing lawns for people.
– That’s funny actually I did the same thing when I was 13.
– Right? All the kids, all the young kids, ’cause it’s easiest, right? – It is, it’s very easy borrow your dad’s mower.
– You thought it was easy, it’s actually not so easy.
– Yeah. – And actually I didn’t do that well, but I got into business
and it’s the first time that I made some money with
just my labor and my hard work. – Sure.
– And from there I started all kinds of businesses. I started fixing computers for people, vending machines, like you know the, candy all that stuff.
– Oh buying gumball machines and trying to put them up at laundromats. – Yes and I tried mail order
back then, direct mail, all kinds of businesses.
– You didn’t do chain letters did you? (laughing)
– No. I wanted to, I didn’t know how, but it
was all kinds of stupid ideas and didn’t make money
with any one of them. It wasn’t very good. I lost all my mom’s money. I maxed all my credit
cards, I borrowed money from friends and family
and I was basically about 150,000 dollars in debt. Now for someone who’s
20 years old, 19, 20, that’s like…
– That’s substantial. – That’s a lot of money,
that’s a lot of money. So, it was very very difficult,
life was very difficult. People ask me the question,
why am I so driven, why didn’t I give up? So I started and failed at 13 business. – Wow.
– 13 businesses. And I always tell people it’s not that because I’m so driven, it’s
because I was just desperate. When you’re 150k in debt, (laughing)
– When you like, fail at 13 businesses, it’s like I’ve hit rock bottom.
– Right. – It can’t get any worse
than this. (laughs) – It’s like, from the
motivation point of view. Okay, yeah, like this is rock bottom, I couldn’t get any worse. The only way I could go is up.
– Right. – And at times, just like most people, was searching for answers, right? Searching for, what’s
the secret to success. I read Think and Grow Rich, I read How to Win Friends
and Influence People. – Did you read The Secret? – No. (laughs) So I did a lot of different things and I was attending seminars
and trying to find the answers. That may not be the answer for everybody but that was the answer for me. I found my first mentor. His name was Alan Jacks
and Alan, at the time, runs a very successful
marketing company in Vancouver. And so, I ask him, I beg him to kind of, take me under his wings and he did. And he taught me my
first high income skill, at the time I didn’t have a name for it but he taught me my
first high income skill and that’s copywriting. – And I cheated, ’cause
I read your book before I came here
– Yes. – ‘Cause I wanted to be
asking you the right questions but you didn’t make any
money from that right? You worked for him for free? I worked for him for free for one year. – Okay
– For one year. He pay me like tiny little bit. – Just a little bit.
– Just a little bit, but – It was mostly for free? – For free it was, but I
was long hours, I would go to the office. I still remember the first few weeks, ’cause we we’re doing a
lot of direct mails, right? Back then , I know direct mail. (laughing)
– The millennials like, what is direct mail? (laughing) No, it’s like the stuff you
get in the mailbox, right? Not email, and I was helping
him to put the stamps on. – Stuffing letters.
– Stuffing letters, right. – Putting on stamps, yeah. – And I, that’s how stupid I was right? I was licking with my tongue.
(laughing) Imagine, licking 1000 envelopes like this. I said this is like,
this don’t taste so good. (laughter)
This is like, poison and shit. And after a few days of
those I looked at him, he’s like, you know you can
use water for that right? – Oh my gosh, that’s so funny.
(laughing) Like a sponge or something?
– That’s how I got started. Licking envelopes, right? – And he knew you were doing it… – I didn’t know, maybe did on
purpose, I don’t know, right. But that’s how I got
started with the whole… And he taught me copywriting, which is, how do you use words. How do you use words to
compel and motivate people to make a purchase. And at first I was just
doing main work at the office where I was always tidying
up the office, organizing and taking stuff to the post office and then eventually he said, oh why don’t you write something for me. – Sure.
– At the time, when I was struggling, I
was sending all these offers for all these free reports
on how to get rich, how to be successful, right? And I saw that I was getting
a lot of these junk mails. But out of all these junk
mails, there’s always this particular company,
which is Alan’s company, sending all these letters and
it’s always from Alan Jacks. And I was so captivated by
the words and I was like, wow this is like, I can’t
stop reading this stuff. – Sure.
– It’s so good. And so I would three hold punch
them put them in a binders. So one time I got an
invitation to go to a workshop, a free workshop. Now usually when you go to free workshop, it’s a speaker. The speaker would talk for,
I don’t know, two hours and then he would offer
some kind of training, back of the room sales, it’s called, right?
– Sure. – So I went to this hotel and I was sitting in
very back of the room. And there was a gentleman
sitting next to me, was on the right hand side. And I look over, and I
saw his name tag, right? And I looked, I said, no way. I looked again, I said, there’s no way. (laughter) It said Alan Jacks. And I said holy shit. And then I said, are you Mr Alan Jacks? He said “Yes.” Like are you the Alan Jacks
that send out the letter and all that stuff, yeah, he said “yes.” I was like, it’s like I
was starstruck, right? – Right, because that’s
somebody you were looking up to. – Yeah, it’s a real person!
– Yeah. – I’m like, holy shit.
(laughter) And, right after, I said,
oh I love your work! And he said, “Yeah, Yeah you know, “we do a lot of good workshops.” ‘Cause he thought I was
referring to the workshop. I said, no, no, no, I love your letters. I love your marketing. I said, I collect them,
I three hole punch them. And he was very flattered,
was shocked first, but then he was flattered. – Because that’s probably
not what he’s known for. – No, he was known for. Most people will see it as junk mail, they don’t appreciate that. That’s I love, I studied
them, remember, this letter and this story and this
headline and all that. And he said, “Well that’s
good, that’s good.” And then I asked a question
that changed my life. I asked him a question, said, Can I buy you lunch?
– Sure. – Can I buy you lunch? And I always remember his face, he’s like, silence for a few seconds, he said, “Ah, what the hell, I gotta eat!” (laughing) And that was it. We went downstairs to the hotel. We went to the little restaurant
and I sit down with him. Now the minute I sit down
with him and I say, hey, you know, Mr Jacks, I’m so honored that you’re having lunch with me. And at the time, I told him point blank, that I’m struggling, I had no money. – Could you afford to buy him lunch? – No so I told him, I
honored that you said yes, but really if you wanna
get a little drink, a burger, I could still do that. – So you had to make sure it was enough for you to pay for.
– Yeah if he got a steak and like that,
(laughing) I would be, my card might not work, right? And he just laughed.
– Sure. – I think he just loved
how transparent I was. How honest I was. So I told him that and he was very happy. And that’s how we started relationship and afterwards, I bug him for months. Finally he said yes. So, circle back. He taught me copywriting and he asked me to
write different letters. First it’s actually
just, basic stuff like, write this paragraph. He was training me and eventually he said, work on this project. And eventually, when I wrote
a letter and he sent it out. And he would tell me, okay this letter brought in x amount of
revenue for the company. And that, I said, that has you could say, corrupted me forever more. Because once you know,
I could use my words. – And pull money out of thin air. – Yeah, like I send it to people and they would buy things and I’m like, this is amazing, this is like a magician. And it’s like, what is this? ‘Cause, you keep in mind, okay
this letter that you wrote, it brought in like, you know,
50,000 dollars or whatever. I’m like, a kid making minimum wage and mowing lawn, make 15
bucks, it’s like, what? – Yeah.
– Right? And that’s my very
first high income skill. – It’s funny, because I
remember one of the first times that I made any money online,
it was selling an eBook for 14 dollars. And that first sale, and it
was like the same kinda thing. It was like this money just appeared. I was like, I put words
on paper, I made something and I sold it for 14 dollars.
– Yes. – And then one day in particular, I had three sales in
one day, so 42 dollars and I was like, I was like, oh my gosh, I finally figured it out. I have the secret. – And how many people have to
work like, manual labor jobs, to make that 13, 14, 15 dollars. I’m talking like, back breaking work. – Oh I know. And the first dollar that you earn, without that back breaking
labor, or that you’re not actively involved in, it’s just, it’s more the mindset shift that matters, not so much the money itself.
– Correct, correct. – And I think everybody says that. So one of the people I
follow, he has a blog that brings in two million dollars a year from affiliate marketing but he said the best money he ever made was that first 150 dollar cheque. – 100%, the first sale. – Yep, ’cause that’s the proof of concept. You realize this shit works. – I think it’s the validation. ‘Cause, you think about
it, you hear about it, but then, that first
little bit of money’s like, Oh this is real.
– Right. – It’s like a validation, right? And your mind of course, thinking about, Oh if I can do that with one book, what if I could sell 10
book, sell 20 eBooks right. So that’s how a lot of
people get started online as well right. So that’s from there, my
first high income skill and after that one year, I branch out and started my own, one
man, advertising agency, kind of like the show Mad Men. – Oh sure, yeah. – Advertising agency, copywriter. And Alan referred some clients to me, so after, right after a period of time, within one year of
branching out on my own, I was making 10,000 dollars
a month as a copywriter. – Sure.
– Now to me that felt like a million dollars. Because from everything I’ve done. I lost money in every single one of them and now, in my early 20s, I
was pulling in 10,000 a month. That’s life changing money for me. – Sure.
– Back then, right? And, then I’m able to
slowly pay off the debt, support my mom, right? I still live very frugally with my mom, but at least I’m now
making 10,000 a month. – Sure.
– So I’m, I’m forever grateful to my mentor. So that changed my life. Reading the books, they’re good. Learning from different people is good. But really having that mentor,
that was the answer for me. – Yeah and I think that so
many people discount that as an option too, just
offering to work for somebody for free, or for very little money. And the people that currently work for me or work along side me, the
reason why they do that is because they approached me
with that same kind of offer. Let me do this for free and
if you like it I’ll pay you, or you can pay me if you like it. And so I mean, I’m sure
yours is probably even worse. You probably get hundreds of emails a day but I get dozens of emails a day saying, hey 50 bucks an
hour, I’ll edit your videos or stuff like this. But the people who, my video
editor now, approached me and said, “Let me edit a couple for free, “if you like what you see,
then I can edit these for you.” – And I think that’s
the difference between, in your video, talked
about the dying mindset of the rich versus poor. I talk about the 97% versus
3%, you talk 99% versus 1%, doesn’t matter what the ratio is, but there’s a difference in mindset. The top earners, the rich, they think of how they add value first, versus the poor, give
me something right now. They want instant gratification. So, if you want to be successful, it’s much better to work to learn, which is just, I want a
paycheck, I want to work to earn. Because if you can delay that… Think, if I was to think about back then, Oh I don’t wanna work
for free for one year for you Mr Jacks. I want x amount of monthly salary. I want you to pay me x amount,
I’m not gonna do extra work and all that stuff. I will never develop my skill. When he is teaching me,
when I’m working for him, that education it’s valuable. I always refer that year as the million dollar year of my life. Because I got a million
dollars worth of education within that year. That’s ten times more valuable
than just whatever job. – Absolutely.
– And that skill stays with me for the rest of my life, which I still use today. Could I get there through
just any regular job? No, so you gotta think
a little bit long term, not just short term, hey
how much do I get paid on a monthly basis. I also notice, poor people, they think in
terms of two weeks or one month. – ‘Cause that’s the pay period, that’s all they can think of.
– That’s the pay period, every two week right,
entrepreneurs that are good, that are more of visionary, they might think in terms of one year. – And results orient to two.
– Results, one year, they think in terms of, okay
what are my goals this year? What’s my annual report,
all that stuff right? But great entrepreneur,
they think much longer, they think two, three, five years. I like to use the story,
Toyota, Toyota, you know, the car company, they have one
hundred year business plan. One hundred year business plan
– That’s unbelievable. (laughter) – So imagine the leader within a company, they’re thinking about, wow,
even when I’m no longer here, where this company’s
going, that’s powerful. – Yeah. – I’m not saying that
maybe, I’m not saying that your business will be around 100 years but just the way that
you think about stuff, then the short term, the
decisions that you make, you might not take those
shortcuts as much, right? You don’t want to just
use short term solutions for long term problems. Think about something that’s
a little bit more long term. – Yeah absolutely, and I
think it’s important too to talk about learning a skill. – Yes.
– Which is something that you traditionally
aren’t doing to learn that in a college, university
– No. – or in high school,
– No. Versus the traditional method, which is, go to college, get a job. So a skill versus a job. One of the examples that
you use that I really like, is talking about doctors.
– Yes. – Or dentists, or surgeons, you know and how you go to school for
what, eight years or more. You put yourself into tons of debt and then you pretty much have no choice but to work in that line of
work until you’re out of debt and eventually, let’s say you retire. That, I think, when most people think, how do you make a lot of money? They think doctors. They don’t necessarily think, entrepreneurs.
– Right. Well one of the cornerstones,
a concept that I teach, I kind of, almost, I don’t
think I invented the term, so I definitely make the term popular, which is high income skills. In terms of earning money,
there’s a big difference between high income skill,
high income profession and high income job. So let me just define that for you right? So you have a high income job, which is usually company specific, right? So you work for whatever company. It could be a big company. It could be a fortune 500 company, whatever company you work for. It’s a high income job. Now I define high income skills as skills built that can make you a minimum of 10,000 dollars a month. So basically, six figure income. – Sure.
– Right. So you have a lot of people
that they maybe they have a high income job but they
think it’s high income skill but it’s not. ‘Cause the minute, if
you leave the company, your income goes like this. That’s a high income job. So you’re only as good as how many years, you’re within that company and you can kind of climb
that corporate ladder, right? Maybe you’ve, you are
from a junior position, now you’re more in a
management senior position, that’s fine, you’re making 10,000 a month. However, the question is,
let’s say something happens to that company, right.
– Sure. You’ve, we’ve all seen
this before, industry, people get downsized,
they work for the company for 20 years and then you know what, boom, something happens, reengineer, they call that right,
corporate reengineering. Bunch of people got…
– Or restructuring, whatever they wanna call it.
– Restructuring yes, right? A bunch of people got,
we got just laid off. So, that’s high income job. Then you have high income profession. High income profession, usually requires a lot of formal education.
– Sure. – Right, I’m talking about doctor. It could be a lawyer. It could be an accountant,
right, engineer. So, that’s a high income profession. Meaning, it’s industry specific. So if you’re industry
specific, meaning usually, they have to spend years
getting the credentials, getting that piece of paper and then they gotta go through a lot of training. Invest, spend thousands,
sometimes hundreds of thousand dollars to get the
credentials that they need in order to operate in a profession. Now, high income profession
is okay, the problem is better than high income job,
but the high income profession usually they are highly stressed. They work long hours. – Right, think lawyers, doctors. Yeah.
– All of them are long hours, and usually they’ve
committed a lot of debt when they were going through
school most of the time. And the minute, they
leave their profession, their value to the market
place again, drops to this. So imagine I’m a dentist,
spend years being a dentist, now making good six figure
income a year as a dentist. Suddenly if I change to do
something completely different. – Right.
– Everything I’ve done in the past, it doesn’t get transferred. – And if you, let’s say you don’t necessarily want to do that, your trapped, because that’s your only skillset at that point, or that you’ve been trained
to do, your profession. – That’s right.
– Yeah. – And that’s that glass ceiling, right? Or sometimes I teach all my students, if you have a high income
profession right now, let’s say you’re real
estate agent, you’re working the local market. You’re high income profession
but you need to develop a high income skill and
that’s what I teach right? Now, high income skill’s
totally different. Because high income skills, first of all, it’s not company specific. It means you can apply
that to any company. – Sure.
– Not industry specific, meaning you can apply it to any industry. In fact, it should be any city. So the corporating skill that
I developed in the beginning, in my early 20s, that’s
a high income skill. Because I could write copy for company A, I could write copy for company B, right? I will write copy for this industry, I can write copy for that industry. I can write for company in Vancouver, I can write copy for
company in Los Angeles, it doesn’t matter. I have the flexibility. But more than that, high
income skill, you can also, allows you to, I call that
stacking your success. This is very important.
– Sure. – Because once I’ve developed
a high income skill, it’s a perfect segue. Example, I was writing copy,
I was making 10,000 a month. After write a copy, let’s pretend that you’re my client right? I say hey Ryan, here’s my copy and then my client was
asking me, ok Dan, great job, how do I use it? Where do I mail these things? Then I was like, well you
just do this and this and this and then they were like, tell me more, can I hire you for consulting? – Right
– Right, and that’s my second high income skill that I accidentally, – Fell into.
– fell into, right? – ‘Cause they need help
with the other steps of that process.
– Exactly, right? So from there, from copywriting,
and then to consulting, I added another six figure
income to my bottom line. So, I was stacking my success. Copywriting, I add another
skill, now I make more money. Now you cannot do that, with
a high income profession. Because, that’s like, okay
this is how much you make, this is it, maybe increases
incrementally per year. But you’re not gonna go from
100k to 200k in one year. You just don’t see that, right? And from there, that I actually
went online at the time, I was using my copywriting
skill, kind of like you, selling eBooks.
– Sure, yeah. – Back then I was selling stuff from, actually from Hong Kong, because
I’m a huge Bruce Lee fan. So I was buying Bruce Lee
collectables from Hong Kong and I was flipping them on eBay. And I was using my marketing
and corporating skill and marketing online. Now, back then, when I was selling eBooks, it was, we’re talking
about like, EXE file, there was in before PDF. – Oh my gosh.
– This is the old days, right? The old days. I was marketing on bulletin board. This is like, before even Google. – Well your first books
you mailed them out, right? – I mailed them out.
– And people would send you checks. – It was a physical book.
– Yeah. – It was a physical book. So I learned all the corporating and marketing stuff, great question. So on marketing stuff and I
put together a little book, called Psychological Tactics.
– Mhmm. And at the time my goal, my vision was, I’m gonna write this book
to protect consumers, about how marketers are
using psychological tactics to compel them to buy. Consumers don’t buy the book, it’s all their marketers, entrepreneurs. – And then they use the strategies. – Yes, to sell more.
– Yeah. – I didn’t know right? So it became a very popular book. I was shipping them out, then
I converted it into an eBook. It was making decent money
but that’s when I realized, wow, this internet thing is…
– Right, yeah. – In the time, Yahoo was
the popular search engine. So I was making money online. Making, as a young guy,
I was 20 something, I was making a ton of money. I’ve never seen so much money in my life. So, there, that all my
buddies, all my friends would start asking me, “Oh how do you do this, internet thing.” I said, well, I showed them the computer. Do this and this and you
sell something online, right, add some kind of value,
sell some kind of product and there you go. They’re like, oh this is
cool, teach us how to do this. Teach you how to do it, what do you mean? They said, “Well, you know, maybe, “maybe you can do a
workshop or something.” So I did a little workshop and a few people gather round
and I taught it for like, a couple of hours and eventually, I don’t know how that
came to be, but it led to a one day workshop and then just locally and then more people showed up. I still remember couple of Events in the Sandman Hotel in here. And eventually it grew
from few hundred people, like from a dozen people,
20 people, 30 people and then 100 people. Before you know it I’d developed
another high income skill which is public speaking. And from there, I was teaching workshops and before you know it, that income, that’s a
high high income skills. I made a lot of money just training because also the internet,
more people wanna learn how the internet works. So it was one of the very
few early, you could say, instructors on internet marketing, before anybody else,
like, good old days right? – Yeah.
– Yeah. So from there that’s my
third high income skill. So you can see it’s, one
thing builds on another. – They stack on up, they
stack up on you, true, yeah. – They do, they do, they
do stack on each other. – And we’re gonna talk
about too, a couple of other high income skills you’ve learned, but I also wanted to mention that, we are going to be putting
together a private training on the most valuable high income
skill that you’ve learned. – Correct.
– And so, that is gonna be in the description if you
guys wanna check that out but we’ll talk more about
that a little bit later. – Yes, speaking of the most valuable. Because I do get this
question quite a bit. I believe the most
valuable high income skill you can develop is, skill that could make
companies, entrepreneurs money. The reason for that is, it doesn’t matter what happens in economy,
companies, organization, entrepreneurs, they’re
always willing to pay someone that can bring them revenue. That also gives you the ability to reassess and improve your income. Here’s why it’s important. Because let’s say my friend,
who’s a golf instructor, if the time suddenly is
bad, the economy is bad, a lot of people are not gonna have the extra disposable income
to take those lessons. His income would dip. – Yeah the very first
thing you cut back on, – It’s all these, stuff.
– Lifestyle things that are not necessities, you’re discretionary spending.
– That’s correct. But if you are the ring maker,
you are the revenue generator for a company, then it’s different. – You’re even more important
– That’s right. So when times are good,
I call that kind of the bar business, right? When time is good,
people go have one drink. When times are bad, people
go they have two drinks. – Yeah.
– So this is the bar tending kind of bar business. Because if you have the
right high income skills that bring in revenue,
such as copywriting, you bring in revenue. Marketing, you bring in revenue. It could be digital marketing,
it could be many many things. But anything that bring in revenue, that is extremely valuable to companies. And then, you notice it
doesn’t matter what happens, your income is recession proof. Actually you can make more
money when times are bad. And I think the most
valuable high income skill is high ticket closing. The good old days of selling, what I call, low ticket offers, those days are over. Remember you know, back old
days, selling a 20 dollar eBook. – Or the books you mailed out. – Yes.
– Low ticket offers, yeah. Back then you could make money doing it, now it’s very difficult because the cost of advertising
has gone up significantly. So those low ticket offers,
it could be offered anywhere from seven dollars to 197 dollars. Those offers are not
designed to make money. They are designed just to
develop a relationship. That initial sell. So the gift to potential customers, just a taste of what you have. All the money is made in the back end, after the first sale’s made. So we’re talking about offer that’s like 2,000, 3,000, 5,000, 25,000 and up. I call those high ticket offers. Now the problem is,
with high ticket offers, it’s very difficult to sell
those 25,000 dollar offers with one email.
– Sure. – Or just a webpage, right? Those offers, they need to
be closed on the telephone. And the skill to be able to
close those high ticket offers on the telephone, I refer
that as high ticket closing. Now why is this important? So think about the model, where, right, you’ve done this right, you’ve created a YouTube channel, right? And it create content and you
put together your own course. And from all that period of time… Actually share that with your fans, through that period of time, as kind of an influencer,
what are the pros and what are cons of the model? – What I would say as an influencer, is that you only have so
much time in your day. – Yes.
– And it’s not a scalable model for me to get
on the phone with people, because you can only make
so many calls in a day and then you hit that ceiling. So it makes a lot of sense to have somebody in between there, facilitating those calls for you and it’s also, when you are
selling a high ticket offer, when you’re talking about a
five or ten percent commission, that could be a significant
amount of money. – So yeah, so high ticket
closer what we do is, instead of selling own
product and services, nothing wrong with that,
but imagine what we do, is we partner with influencer. Let’s say the influencer
has a package and offer that is like, 3,000 dollars. – Sure.
– Okay. So they’re very happy
to pay you anywhere from 10, to even 20%, let’s say 10%. 300 bucks for every sale that you make. So imagine this. The influencer is creating the content, developing a relationship,
building the funnel and creating the webinar,
all these things. But then, they don’t
actually make the real money, unless someone like you
and I, a high tech closer, gets on the phone and close
those high ticket sales. When you do that, they’re
more than happy to pay you, hey you know what, here
is 10%, here’s 300 dollars for bringing in that revenue
for me, thank you so much. So imagine, a phone call, it could be a 45 minute phone call. That’s what we teach, we close
the sale with one phone call. When someone makes, when a
customer wants to make a purchase that size, they need someone
to kinda walk them through it. You have some questions, you want them to talk them through the process. They’re like, 90% there. But you go and you help
them with that 10%. Or just, pull them across the finish line. And when you can do
that, you can make money. So, imagine you’re selling a 3,000 offer, one phone call, 300 dollars
you’ve just made, 300 dollars. Now, the question is,
what’s your closing ratio, you could be closing one out of five. I’ve seen it close like, one out of three, one out of two, with using
high tech closing skill that I teach. But let’s say one out of five. You take five calls a day.
– Sure. – You close one sale. That’s 300 dollars that you made in one single day, just one. You times that by four weeks. That’s pretty good money, that’s six k, that you make. The question, out of six
k, what’s your expense? That’s the bottom line,
what’s your expense? You didn’t spend money creating products. You weren’t delivering the product. You didn’t run any ads. You didn’t build any website. You are piggybacking all the hard work that the influencers done and
it’s a win win relationship because the more money you make, the more money they make. So imagine if you bring in,
I’ve, a student’s money, they bring in say 100,000 dollars a month additional revenue for the influencer. They make 10,000 a month,
that’s a high income skill. The influencers making
100,000 dollars in revenue. That’s over 1.2 million dollars. My question is, is the influencer happy? Yes, right?
– Yeah. – Are you happy? Yes
– Right, it’s a win win relationship. – Is the customer happy? Yes, because when someone
invests at that kind of level and the high ticket offer
was like, cheap eBook, they are committed, they are
willing to produce results. So you have a happy influencer,
you have a happy client and you then you have a happy closer. That’s my model. – Now for people that may not be familiar, outside of influencers,
what are other industries, or areas where you see high ticket offers? I know consulting is one that newish. – Consulting you could… – Business to business consulting – Business to business,
but there’s so many. You have, in the fitness
industry, you have in the luxury market. You have all, like even
antiques, jewelry, Sudamay makes a million a year just
selling diamonds, right? All these industries, there’s
a very particular skill set when it comes to high ticket, because when it comes to high ticket, all the traditional, I
call them sales techniques, they don’t work.
– Mhmm. – Even going through HTC,
what’s been your experience, in terms of our closing style? – Yeah definitely, so
obviously when I first started going through the course,
I had a lot of thoughts in my head that, I was
worried about the course, didn’t wanna be, you know, a slick salesman.
– Yep, sales. – The car salesman. And I also went through that too because sales is also involved with what I do, when I put videos out on YouTube because you got, I think
you have 10 seconds to get somebody interested in a video before they’re off
watching something else. I mean, there are
literally hundreds of hours of video content being
posted every minute. So that was one of my other motivations for going through this
was, how do I sell people on my self, increase my
confidence with speaking and everything like that. But, it was as opposite as it could be from what I had thought of in my mind of calling people up, cold
calls, following scripts. And when I learned that you guys don’t even
really recommend scripts, other than just for like,
learning to write stuff down. I was like, it just makes so much sense and really the best way I can describe it, is it’s just using your intuition. – Yes.
– And using your natural instinct with conversations with people and just being natural. And sometimes, just being
somebody to listen to for them, or they just wanna talk
about their problems and you’re not really pushing it. You’re just kind of
calmly there listening. – I always say that when it
comes to high tech closing, the less you talk, the more you close. You shouldn’t be doing
most of the talking. The prospect should be
doing 80% of the talking. And you know you’re doing this right when after you close a high ticket sale, a 5,000, 10,000 dollars sale, the prospect says thank you. That’s when you know you got this right. Because you have helped
them solve a huge problem in their business or in their life. It shouldn’t be, oh great
you buy and all that. You feel like afterwards,
and that’s a problem, that’s a… People think about closing the sales, there’s a big difference
between sales and closing. A lot of people sell,
very few people close. – Sure.
– Right. The different between a
salesman, sales person, versus a closer. We’re talking about being a closer, right? Completely different skillset. So high tech closing, I
think that’s something that I believe, one of the most powerful, if not the most powerful
high income skills you can develop. Because, this is the fundamental skill that enhances everything else.
– Sure. – So think about my corporating
skill, my consulting skill, my public speaking high income skill, any skills that you do requires closing. If I’m a better closer I can make more money with all of them. And everything is closing. If you’re talking to
customers, you’re closing. If you are talking to a
supplier, you want to negotiate better terms, that is closing. You are entrepreneur, you
want to raise capital, guess what, that’s definitely closing. – Sure.
– You’re making video. – Yeah.
– That’s closing, right? You’re single, but you want a date. – You gotta close on that.
– You gotta close the deal. You gotta get the phone
number, you gotta first, that’s all closing. Everything is closing. Everything that I’ve
accomplished, all my, the wealth, fulfillment, everything that I have, because of my ability to close. That’s what makes everything move. But yet it’s not taught in school. – I know, it’s unbelievable. Well you don’t really
hear about any of these high income skills in school. You hear about J O B, go get a job. – The school system is not, think about why is this
school teaching you to have the high income job,
climb the corporate ladder or the high income profession. These things are designed to restrict you. – Sure.
– To imprison you. – And you’re also learning
from people with jobs. – With jobs! – Teachers are people with jobs. – The system, they designed a prison. – So they don’t know any other way. – They’re not designed to free you, they don’t want you to be free. ‘Cause you study history
of the school system, they’re actually developed
by, you could say, industry, the industry tycoons, right? Because they need, back
then if you study history, they needed workers, they need workers and on a mass scale. So they thought, you know what,
why don’t we create system that will create a never ending supply. – Just manufacturing workers.
– of workers. For us, the problem is,
things have changed. – Right.
– Right, things have changed. And people are realizing, hey,
that’s not a very smart idea. That’s why I have, even with HTC, we have doctors, we have
dentists, chiropractors, engineers, they have a
high income profession, but once I teach them this concept, they’re like, of course. – They need a high income skill. – I need a high income, this
is, even though they have a perfectly good high income
profession, but they know that could go away, or something
changes in the industry. Or they just want something on the side that could create more income for them, ’cause that is not enough anymore. – Actually I’ll give you a
perfect example of that too. Somebody who lives in
my building is a doctor and his family lives about five hours away and he basically there were
no jobs in that area for him. He ended up leaving where he was at because of restructuring,
or something like that and he had to move away from
his family, five hours away, just to work. And then basically work
Monday through Friday there, go back home on the weekends, driving back and forth five hours. And so that’s a tough position to be in because you have no
opportunity to make money, when you’re so limited. But if you have a high income skill, you can be anywhere.
– You can go anywhere. – You can make phone calls from anywhere if you’re doing that or
for me as an example, I’m in Vancouver doing
YouTube videos, you know. That laptop lifestyle or
whatever you wanna call it, that’s really unique to high income skills and particularly online businesses. – And you can work from
anywhere in the world and the beautiful thing
about high tech closing on telephone, it doesn’t
matter what you look like, it doesn’t matter your age.
– Or what you’re wearing. – Or what you wear.
– You can be in your pajamas if you want to, yeah.
– It does not matter, because no one cares about, in terms of high income profession, if they say you are in
that sort of industry, people will judge you buy your age, oh your too young for this,
you are too old for this. You don’t have enough experience for this. No, because when you
are high ticket closer, it’s not about you.
– Sure. – It is not about you,
because they’re not buying because of you, they’re buying
because of the influencer, because of the offer. You are just the connector. You’re the facilitator,
you’re the problem solver, to help them make that informed decision. When it’s not about you, it’s much better because it doesn’t matter. It doesn’t matter you’re
not as charismatic or like the influencer,
that does not matter. So that’s a huge advantage and that’s why. And it doesn’t take years,
four years of college, to develop a skill right? I teach my students in seven weeks. Now does that mean in seven weeks you become a master closer? No, but you have developed
sufficient skill enough, you can go out there
and make stuff happen. You saw this, even during the seven weeks, that we have students getting booms, getting success stories. – A boom is what you share
in the Facebook group once you have a success
that you’re sharing. – Right, you close a sale. – I think it was amazing
and week three I was but you had people already closing and they weren’t even
done with the program. – They’re not even done
– So that was like – with the program.
– super ambitious. Then every week and boom,
boom, boom, we have that. Because it’s something you can learn. That’s how high income skills should be. You can learn it, you can implement it. It shouldn’t be, oh I
gotta go through this, I gotta take an exam and then maybe, maybe I get a job, maybe I can implement. And that’s one thing that
why I’m so passionate about education.
– Sure. Because, so many people now after, and I see a lot of my fans,
they’re young people too right? They go to school, they
want to provide a good life for their family, for themselves.
– Sure. – So they study hard, they go to school. And then after they
graduate and they thought, my future’s going to be very bright. I study for many many
years, I get a student loan and now I’m gonna go out there and I’m gonna make things happen right? Do something on my own. They go in the real world,
out of everything they study, they cannot get a job. After one year of searching,
cannot, literally, there’s no job for them. Sitting down interviewing in
an interview with someone, oh we can’t hire you,
you don’t have experience or, you need more education.
– Sure. – Fine, go back to school. I’ll get a fricking MB,
is that good enough? I’ll study a few more
years, I’ll get MBA now, go out there, now can you hire me? No, you’re over qualified. (laughing) You have too much education. – They can’t afford you.
– I can’t afford you. So you don’t hire me because I
don’t have enough experience, now I have more education,
I’m over qualified, but how can I get experience
if you don’t give me a job? – It’s totally backwards. – Like the whole thing is so
fucked up, I hate to say it, but it is pretty fucked up. So, then what do they do? So you have this whole
generation of young people, where do they go? And then, more than that,
all the stuff that they teach in school, a lot of stuff, it’s outdated because the internet, the
technology, everything’s happening so fast. Whatever you study, unless
your studying, like, I’m talking mathematics
or stuff that’s like, accounting, that’s fine. – Sure, I always think it’s funny, those who go to college
for marketing, you know, it’s like, by the time it’s in a textbook. – It’s out of date.
– You know, it’s out of date. – There’s a new platform tomorrow. Like school, even basic things,
where it doesn’t teach kids how to deal with cyber bullying, how to deal with social media. How do you deal with this
information overload? Overstimulated, all these things. There’s no 101, 202, none
of these topics are covered. But these are real problems
happening right now. The school system has
not caught up to do that and that’s a big problem
that I see, huge problem. And then, then you have a
lot of people out there now, out of jobs, which then it’s not creating creating momentum for the economy. This problem just snowballs right? And then all this great
talent, all these young people, they have the desire, you can see… Even now, one thing I’m very proud of is I think young people
nowadays, they’re much more social conscious right? They’re much more
thinking about the world, the globe, the environment,
all these things. Back then, nobody thinks
about that kinda stuff. But the problem, I think
there is not enough of a support and of a
platform for them to exercise the creativity, the talent. You have a very small
percentage, who maybe then go out and be entrepreneur, but
you have a whole group, that maybe they’re not quite
ready to be an entrepreneur. Or maybe they are not
equipped to be entrepreneur, or maybe they don’t want
to be an entrepreneur, but they don’t want to
have just a job either, then they kind of stuck. ‘Cause there’s no other
outlet, this is it right? You know, you get a job,
or you be an entrepreneur. Not necessarily, you can also
develop high income skill and do what you want and
make the money first, then maybe you wanna
transition to entrepreneurship or maybe not. – Sure.
– Right? But this kinda education,
zero, it doesn’t exist. That’s why I think people turn to YouTube. – I think that is why
we’re seeing so much growth in this niche on YouTube,
I mean, it’s crazy. Five years ago, none
of this really existed, you didn’t really see people making videos on money making ideas, side
hussies, all kinds of stuff like that, so, I’m glad that
there is more information out there.
– Yeah, yeah 100%. – Alright, well I think that’s
a good stopping point here. Dan thank you so much
for sitting down with us here for this video. – You’re welcome. – If you guys are
interested in checking out a free training, a
private training Dan and I are putting on, that’s
gonna be the top link down in the description below. And got a couple of other
videos planned with Dan, so make sure you guys
stay tuned for those. But, thank you so much
for taking the time here. – You’re welcome.

Why Disclose Mail Advertising and marketing Is A good distance From Ineffective | Empathy Wines Barter Assembly

– What number of instances of wine did you purchase? – [Entrepreneur] 30. – Nothing, pay attention it is
cash however this is what’s cool about it. You are gonna fucking give it to cli–, prefer it’s so sensible. You bought your perspective. I simply wanna be pleased,
do not you wanna be pleased? That is the biz dev barter
of Empathy Wine episode. – So I purchased Large, and all
he was doing was postcards. It was referred to as Large Postcards. 2011 I purchase the corporate,
yeah they’re this large, big postcards. – How’d he give you
the identify of the corporate? (laughing) Go forward. – He had one factor proper,
he was doing shared. That is the place I’ve
to, if we wish to debate slightly bit. – Please. – [Entrepreneur] I’ve to
debate with you as a result of that plan proper there, so he had a plan. I took it and I perfected it to that. Now the supervisor of the
membership, in the event you flip it over, say that is Gold’s Fitness center,
Anytime Health, no matter. That supervisor proper there
goes subsequent door to wherever from two or one actually. – The New York Jets had been
paying me thousands and thousands of {dollars} and making thousands and thousands of
{dollars} by placing a emblem within the backside left-hand
nook of the video and film we posted on Fb. Shared isn’t unique to
postcards or social media. If you happen to’re gonna inform me, which you’re, that they amortized down
the fee I am like cool. You are able to do that on Fb
and you are able to do it at scale. And you’ll run extra arbitrage on Fb as a result of if you understand how,
a mailbox, the submit workplace is mounted. Fb is damaged, it is a market. You get to take benefit. I’m selecting up followers who
communicate Arabic for 1.9 cents proper now. Followers, not consumption, follows. I am gonna receives a commission $250,000,
$400,000 a speech in Kuwait, and Jordan, and Dubai in a
12 months as a result of what Fb does that the submit workplace does not
is it does not ground it. So that you’re proper, I
perceive what you have completed. That is actually proper. That is what big house permits you to do. – [Entrepreneur] And that is the one way– – I completely received it. – [Entrepreneur] I imagine
that junk mail works. – Truthfully, look I
actually simply stated you already know what’s humorous? I do not hate junk mail. I simply know in the event you use Fb completely, with the mentality of
junk mail, it is scary. I do not know what else to say the you bro. This is identical to everyone. I can actually put fuckin’
sushi on it for him. It is loopy, however very like
you have perfected this, this observe of junk mail’s been round for 80 years. There’s a lot work to be
completed on the content material facet on Fb and on the
self-discipline of being nice at spending $88 in opposition to
African American males that reside in you already know,
downtown Atlanta who love the Hawks however not the Braves. I imply the shit is fuckin’
gnarly and there aren’t companies but or people
that actually perceive what a Plinko board of
that degree appears to be like like. Like I stated, sure. – [Entrepreneur] I need you to know that essential half although. You made me pivot and
two years in the past, proper? Actually two years in the past
I stated okay Gary’s proper, everyone believes him, proper? – I gotta cope with that market habits. – [Entrepreneur] I did not
know, I noticed you randomly, however I might say, and I would
be utterly unsuitable right here. However I might say you have exploded
over the past two years. – Appropriate. I would been round for eight
years, but it surely’s completely different now. – [Entrepreneur] And no offense clearly. – No offense, I am pumped about it. I preach to those 24-year
olds endurance, I lived it. I do not wanna be a hypocrite. I am pumped that I fuckin’
ate shit or grinded. And I used to be doing nice such as you. Because of this I am overreacting
to your 37 or no matter. You are gonna have extra
ups and downs relying in your persona trait. Ups and downs are based mostly on danger. Whenever you come from the
filth you’ve extra losses since you’re fuckin’
enjoying with, give a fuck. Whenever you begin doing it proper slightly bit it will depend on my dad hit a
place the place he was like fuck it I am good. So I am not gonna put myself
ready ever once more, you already know? And truthfully I am sort of that method, too. I’ve sufficient of a nest egg within the factor, and even constructing Gary Vee
is admittedly constructed on what if all shit goes to shit? So I at all times speak concerning the fact. The financial system being weak,
this and that nature. As a result of when the financial system
collapses, I am gonna be proper ‘trigger I am proper. And two, I am not gonna get
150, I am gonna get 30,000. However I will nonetheless get 30,000. And at the very least that is like
my insurance coverage coverage. – [Entrepreneur] Completely. – So that you pivoted. – [Entrepreneur] I knew I could not construct, we had been doing shut (audio
skips), bucks, not unhealthy. – And what, you had been tremendous
slim to only this world? – [Entrepreneur] Simply junk mail. – Simply junk mail for
gyms or simply direct– – [Entrepreneur] Anyone, anyone. – However that shopper was large. It was disruptive that,
my speak there as a result of they had been so large a proportion of your. – [Entrepreneur] 90%, 90%
of our enterprise, numbers. – Obtained it, received it, if it was eight p.c it would not have mattered. If you happen to had been Kentucky
Fried Chickens and gymnasiums. – [Entrepreneur] If you happen to ask anyone you may in all probability say this. I imply ask anyone in Anytime Health, I have been round for nearly 13 years. – In that little world? – [Entrepreneur] In there, yeah. And I’ve completed 12 Anytime Health golf equipment. – And you continue to have them? – [Entrepreneur] All
of them are nonetheless open. I’ve received a number of as a result of I’ve bought them. I purchased one in all my companions
out for a giant chunk of cash. – For this one? – [Entrepreneur] However earlier than
I run out of time with you, the most important factor that I did, and that is your doing is
I knew I could not make it. If I needed to get to
10 million, 20 million, 50 million, cannot do it with junk mail. Now I might do it with direct
mail, however do I essentially wish to? – You do not wish to battle,
you did not wish to battle, such as you’re sensible. You may have. – [Entrepreneur] It is 5, 10% margins. – However not solely that, you’ll
have needed to fuckin’ battle the inevitable incontrovertible fact that
over time the web will proceed to gobble up extra. You are gonna should battle
more durable on decrease margin for a smaller pie. – [Entrepreneur] So
what I did was after all I can do the outdated stuff. I printed that. – I really like that you simply did that. – [Entrepreneur] You have
received a pair extra right here. And I received another
stuff, however I wasn’t tremendous impressed with it. I had my manufacturing supervisor do some stuff. However I received into actually,
we nonetheless do the junk mail as a result of it is nonetheless a very good bit. It is nonetheless 30, 40% of our enterprise. – However now? – [Entrepreneur] As you already know,
junk mail’s costly, proper? So on our income it is good. Now on the revenue facet
like I stated, 5, 10%. – I received it. – [Entrepreneur] I hate
doing a frickin’ $10,000 deal and solely make 1,000 bucks. – I get it. – [Entrepreneur] Two and a
half years in the past I stated okay we have gotta do all the pieces. Not essentially all the pieces work small. So we began with the banners,
then we went to lanyards. Then we went to t-shirts. T-shirts actually took off. T-shirts is I believe the place it is gonna be. Now we actually, in the event you go to my website we actually do all the pieces. – You make. – [Entrepreneur] I hate to say no. Any individual calls me up,
hey can do you do that? – The answer is sure. – [Entrepreneur]] I am like sure. – Brother, I am a believer. I am at my greatest after I’m
that and I hate the years the place my firms get large
and I’ve to let it’s within the no enterprise for few minutes. That is what I am simply
getting out of in Vaner. Just like the final three years I
have not been outrageously proud of the no tradition of my very own firm. However what you do at instances is you begin. I am a giant believer in sure. Then I believe there’s instances
the place you are marinating a few of these yeses which forces you to perform a little no. And I hate these durations. I am getting again into
sure which excites me. Is there something that I
may also help with proper now? – [Entrepreneur] Completely man. – What? – [Entrepreneur] Do you’ve,
I do know print’s not large. It is all about on-line proper? We’re principally offline. – Do not get it twisted. I really like LinkedIn, I am speaking
quite a bit about LinkedIn. However I do not love LinkedIn
adverts ‘trigger there is a ground. I do not like flooring, I like
web has limitless scale and inefficiencies once you begin at zero. I am a by-product of my actuality. I constructed a enterprise from
three to 60 million {dollars} in 4 seconds with
no cash ‘trigger Google did not have a fuckin’ ground
at 5 cents a click on. No one on earth on the
time, and I fucked up. I ought to have constructed a
trillion greenback firm. However I used to be in my little wine world. No one was shopping for silver oak and crimson wine, and Bordeaux. And I simply fuckin’ cleaned home. That is why I really like social media. Instagram tales proper
now will enroll much more individuals to the fitness center
than that if you already know what you are doing. It is like anything. If you happen to’re good at baseball
then it is an awesome thought. You make fuckin’ $23 million a 12 months being a center reliever. However in the event you’re not, you are not. So it comes all the way down to ability. I really like paper, I like actual world. I like occasions, I simply talked about it. I like paper as a result of
there’s a spot for paper. I write books in guide kind. Folks make enjoyable of me generally. They’re like uh, Mr. Digital. I am like as a result of individuals learn them. There are only a few issues
I shit on that I nonetheless do. I am doing junk mail this week. I do not know what else to let you know. – [Entrepreneur] How can we work collectively? – That is in all probability a
higher query, proper? That is the larger, you
at all times begin with the moon and work again, precisely. – [Entrepreneur] We simply
partnered with one other man. Our web site goes via the roof. We’re getting orders from in all places. I’ve even talked to
Australia about going– – I do not even wish to know
how a lot paper is being printed in America. I suppose the query is
what do you’ve proper? Whenever you say we’re gonna do all the pieces, are you sitting within the
center and outsourcing? Do you’ve a printing press? I do not even know what to ask? – [Entrepreneur] Once I was
with Gold’s Fitness center, I am again, I did a full circle. What I did over the past– – What’s my timing? – [Male] You are over. – By how a lot? I do know, by how a lot? – [Male] 10 minutes. – Okay however we’ll have 5 extra minutes. – [Entrepreneur] Superior, man. Principally full circle. – Because of this this barter
factor I am doing is silly as a result of I am not gonna have the ability to keep. Like we spent all this
time analyzing my time. Then it is so costly
that we sort of discounted and I am already upset. Then I am gonna go over
by 30% in each assembly as a result of I get pumped. That is what I hold telling individuals. When I’ve to promote one thing,
I am inconceivable to get to. – [Entrepreneur] I’ve
been making an attempt to get to you for 2 and a half years. – Proper and what number of
instances of wine did you purchase? – [Entrepreneur] 30. – Nothing, pay attention it is cash. However this is what’s cool about it. You are gonna fucking give it to cli–, prefer it’s so sensible. – [Entrepreneur] That is
what I used to be telling John. I used to be telling John yesterday. – I am like having the
dialog with you guys. Like this fuckin’ sucker. I really feel like I am not joking,
I really feel like a sucker. However I find it irresistible. It is again to the grind of the sport. I really like when each individuals win. I really like that you simply’re successful. – [Entrepreneur] I am gonna
give away 100, 200 bottles. What if all of them find it irresistible? You are a genius. I can not drink 300 bottles. – I do know that. – [Entrepreneur] To be trustworthy,
I am not even a wine man. – And who’s gonna purchase wine? Persons are gonna purchase wine that may aff-, who’s gonna have the ability to barter? They’re gonna have the ability
to afford it which implies they’re in enterprise. Or one particular person simply purchased 100 instances. They’re donating it to charity. The charity that I am on
the board of goes to make use of it at very excessive
occasions the place it may get good branding. So completely and this is why good with that versus different issues. It is really a $40 wine really for $20. So the those who get it are gonna freak of how good it’s. And in the event you give it to
someone who usually buys eight to $20 wine, they’re gonna be like that is so good when
they go to the web site and see that it is $20 by
the case they’re gonna be like fuck, that is method
higher than what I am shopping for at Whole Wine. And it is ‘trigger it really
is a $40 wine for $20. Anyway nonetheless, what can we do? Here is what I might say. You are catching me at an incredible time. I am as, okay this is what we are able to do. Let me provide the complete gamut. I do not know if Vaner is
ready the place it is so disproportionately pumped to get the paper or junk mail enterprise for
our purchasers as a result of we’re competing on the highest degree. They’re working with–. – [Entrepreneur] Aren’t you leaving cash on the desk, although? – We’re, however the battle
to the battle to offer me their enterprise when
they’re working with who the fuck is aware of up the size,
in all probability they’re getting added worth from their nationwide media. I do not know, however I will do some homework. Essentially the most excessive, and I
do not suppose that is going to, intuitively this does not really feel proper. There’s extra virtually
doing it for him and I. I need Phil and we’re going
via our personal course of. That is me actually taking time to promote Phil on this continued thought. I am determined to create
an organization referred to as 49. I’ve this thought
that I’ll construct monumental quantities of wealth
by creating an organization that really companions with
individuals which are really sensible. I imply give it some thought. You paid some huge cash to
purchase out a minority accomplice. Me rolling in proper now
and being like give me 49% of your corporation isn’t just like the factor that is gonna get you excited. So Phil’s gonna put you on a name. I need him on it as a result of
I need him to be taught. You need to take the enterprise from the man that is received it from us at Wine Library. So that ought to occur. I believe that is good
as a result of I wanna proceed. I am testing the waters, I nonetheless prefer it. – [Entrepreneur] Do you do
specialty or do you simply do saturation mailing, have you learnt? – We do each, we do each. – [Entrepreneur] Okay
as a result of specialty is nice. It is clearly extra
costly as a result of you have to pay first-class postage. – I will be trustworthy with you. What’s actually fascinating to me is the, I believe I can do it very bizarre. I am in such a singular
spot as a human so cool. That is the mannequin? I believe Wine Library might
in all probability make $500,000 a 12 months as a result of not like all these
firms if I even have a B facet, if I do
one video on Fb that claims hey, I am doing
one thing with junk mail I would like you to ship me the
samples of your merchandise as a result of I cannot let
you purchase house until I imagine in your services or products. After we do high quality management
I might in all probability be mailing weekly and making my dad 5,000 to 10,000. – [Entrepreneur] You
might be mailing at no cost. – No, no as a revenue middle. – [Entrepreneur] Dude, you
might really become profitable. There are clause, you already know these. – That is what a revenue middle is. – [Entrepreneur] I cap
it, I say it is 2,100 bucks for five,000 postcards. If you happen to get 2,400 you
get to maintain 300 bucks. – That is what I am saying,
that is what I am saying. – [Entrepreneur] So that you
might completely do this. – Surprise if we are able to flip
that right into a enterprise for influencers? Take into consideration what I am speaking about now. Take a look at this with these guys. We do it for six months,
actually get it down. Be ok with it. We construct out some kind
of little gross sales, CRM-y sort of little factor
that turns into scalable. You then persuade, so for
instance, health influencers. Prefer it might be a revenue
middle for influencers penetrating demos they don’t seem to be reaching. You already know, in the event you’re the cliche
advert, the nice trying dude or sizzling stylish, you are welcome man. (laughing) I really like your haircut
too, I am tremendous into you. I used to be like fuck man, I want I had that. You want his haircut? – [Entrepreneur] I believed
I used to be gonna get tattooed on the hair. – Tattoo’s cool, however
the haircut’s good man. It is like good. – [Entrepreneur] So I
do good bringing him. – Excellent. – [Entrepreneur] Hey man,
he is received a chunk of this if we do a deal. – Anyway, so I must wrap. Here is what I might say. By the method you may
ship and electronic mail to them, me, and Brandon. Phil and Brandon might be on
the telephone with you tomorrow. You need to take that enterprise. We must always do that. We’ll do it as soon as simply
regular, ensure all the pieces. That is not what I am frightened about. It is the vacations. In January I believe I am
actually I am not joking. I am gonna attempt to roll, I imply simply strive it. I like saying sure, making an attempt shit. I am gonna attempt to subsidize it for my dad. I am looking for methods to
assist my dad make more cash. I am gonna subsidize it
with native New Jersey, I will run the adverts solely in Jersey. It should actually be
like Gary Vee’s Jersey enterprise beneficial. It truly is one thing I
suppose if you concentrate on how I am leveraging model,
it is one thing my dad might be making 10,000 bucks. If my dad, if I informed
my dad, dad, excellent news. You are mailing weekly ‘trigger it really works, it is simply costly. You are mailing weekly and also you’re
gonna make $10,000 a month as a result of I am whoring myself
out on the opposite facet via a course of that I be ok with as a result of I do like that
restaurant in Pink Hook and I do be ok with the
taffy place in Atlantic Metropolis, and I do be ok with the no matter. He’ll be pleased and the enterprise will develop. He’ll make $120,000 in
internet revenue simply ‘trigger and his enterprise will
get a ton extra visitors. It should work, so anyway
after which perhaps we construct that mannequin. Then if I like that,
in all probability this time subsequent 12 months I might then have the ability to say
hey, let’s do that for actual whether or not it is 20%. We’re actually making an attempt to determine
out what we’re constructing. We have gone from investing
to personal fairness, to directed client manufacturers,
to a holding firm. However I believe, and it does not
should be Phil by the way in which. If he decides to not move on it, it is going to be Andy Ok or Tyler, or Sini. I believe I am inevitably going
down a path of an organization referred to as 49, Vaner 49. – [Entrepreneur] I find it irresistible. – It is sensible. – [Entrepreneur] It is an superior community. Are you able to picture the community you would–. – In fact I am fascinated about that. The quantity of individuals. – [Entrepreneur] An
occasion with these individuals. – The Turks and Caicos weekend yearly on the 49th week of the 12 months. (laughing) Oh that is December, it is chilly. I really like that, that is what? Proper earlier than, that is actually
December 12th, I find it irresistible. That is precisely proper. The entrepreneurial of America or no matter these fuckin’ issues are referred to as. They’re outdated, all these issues. – [Entrepreneur] I find it irresistible. – A holding firm,
and I can actually do it. It is what occurs once you construct model. In the identical method that you simply
fuckin’ had a cope with the ramifications of me
getting excited on stage in a hockey area in New York. I actually, actually do suppose
after I received to know you, or I would not surrender my model. ‘Trigger that is what you are frightened of. I am not gonna say you are a
fuckin’ junk mail dude, I do not know you. I like all the pieces thus far,
intuitive, it feels proper. Just like the story, you perform a little homework. You do one thing for
a 12 months and you’ll say you are the junk mail. It is fuckin’, it is sport over. You will decide up an infinite market share. You are gonna do two million,
that is already method higher than a million. – [Entrepreneur] Do you
suppose I ought to nonetheless proceed to develop on the t-shirt facet? – Sure. – [Entrepreneur] ‘Trigger
I’ve to diversify. – 100,000 p.c, alright
let’s do these one-on-ones, get it out of right here Phil. (clean jazz music)

first I want to find out how committed you actually are to start making $100 per day because if you’re truly committed you’re gonna watch this video from the very start all the way until the very end and if you’re really serious about doing this then do me a quick favor right now and tap that like button make sure you subscribe to join the strongest family on YouTube to make money online and leave that we’re gonna be giving you guys at the end of the video so make sure you watch till the end because we’re gonna be revealing some absolutely top secret ways to start making $100 per day at the end of this video so let’s get into it right now number seven it’s called peer fly comm and basically what peer fly actually allows you to do is what’s called a CPA so most types of affiliate programs you actually have to get someone to sign up and pay but what CPAs mean is it literally pays you per action so what peer fly allows you to do it’s sign up and promote companies for example like Fiverr if you get a hundred people to sign up for Fiverr through your pure fly link you are going to get paid every single time somebody clicked that link they don’t even have to sign up they don’t even have to pay they literally just have to take an action cost per action so you get paid every time someone clicks a link that you’re promoting on peer planes this is a really good way to start making money if you have any type of following or even inviting your friends and family to actually sign up for this stuff because you get paid every single time somebody takes an action and clicked on your link number six is called Dudek Oh what dude allows you to do is make a mobile-optimized website so what I like to do with Deuter com is I like to go out and look for businesses that have a terrible looking mobile site right maybe it doesn’t fit right in your phone maybe things are stretched out maybe it doesn’t load it all maybe it loads too slowly what do Turco allows you to actually do is optimize and create mobile websites even if you have no knowledge of actually how to build websites so what you can do is find businesses that have terrible-looking mobile site and message them saying that you could build them a much better mobile site and then use Duda code to actually create that and the best part about do taco is that you literally can start a free trial so you don’t have to pay anything upfront and you can start to do this and start to make $100 a day doing it all you have to do is go out and find businesses that don’t have a nice-looking mobile optimized site and then use Deuter code to make it for them number-5 a lot of us have probably heard of its Fiverr and up work and what Fiverr and up work allow you to do is actually just go out and make money for whatever you’re good at maybe you speak two languages if you speak English and Spanish you could make a gig on Fiverr or up work saying that you’ll do translation services and people will literally pay you to do this right and that’s the beautiful thing about fiber and up works you can do anything that you’re good at and you can actually make money doing it maybe you’re good at graphic design maybe you’re good at making logos right maybe you’re good at making websites or optimizing Shopify stores it doesn’t matter what it is you can literally get paid for your expertise all you have to do is sign up for free for Fiverr or up works comm and literally you can make a gig or a service offering telling people what you can do maybe it’s translation maybe it’s graphic design it doesn’t matter what it is you can go and look at what’s popular and what’s already selling and then if you’re good at any of those things or you can learn to be good at any of those things you can start to actually do it too and you can start to make $100 per day doing it number four is canva.com what canva allows you to do is even if you have absolutely no skills maybe you signed up for fiber or upwork to do graphic design but you’re not actually good at graphic design what canva.com allows you to do is actually create beautiful graphic designs even if you have no idea at what you’re doing right I usually use canva comm to make my own YouTube thumbnails and you could offer to make YouTube thumbnails for people for five or ten dollars each and it might take you you know 10 to 20 minutes to actually create the thumbnail but if you’re getting paid $10 each right 20 minutes to do one and that’s still $30 per hour so at canva calm if you get good at it is a very very easy way to offer graphic design services maybe you’re making business cards for people you can literally do anything that requires graphic artistry which is basically everything on the internet for online businesses now to create logos to do any type of thing that a business would be happy to pay for you can use canned even if you have a zero graphic design skills to actually get paid to create graphics for business’s website number three is called add fly and what add flight allows you to do is get paid every time someone clicks on a link and you might not get paid a ton every single time someone clicks a link but it does start to add up and the best part is it takes literally zero work so if you have a blog or you have traffic of any kind if you have a YouTube channel maybe you can get a lot of your friends and family to click a link what happens is you shorten any link on the internet and when someone clicks on that link there showed a five-second ad and when they showed that five-second ad you get paid so every time someone clicks on your link that you make an ad fly you make money so let’s say that you have a cheat sheet or an e-book or maybe you made like a tutorial on how to get better at fortnight the beautiful thing is if anybody clicks on any link that you actually shortened with AD flies you get paid every single time with zero additional work and you might not become a millionaire overnight but it’s a very very easy way to start generating some additional passive income with zero work number two is Flippa and what flippa.com actually allows you to do is sell anything online maybe you have a Shopify store maybe you have an Instagram that you’ve been growing for years you can literally sell that Instagram or that Shopify store you can sell a domain name you can sell anything that you can think of when it comes to the internet on Flippa com or you use flippa.com to actually go and find a bargain and what I mean by that is maybe you see a website that’s just designed poorly and maybe you have graphic artist skills or maybe you’re good at a web design you see that website you see if getting a lot of traffic you see it’s getting some sales and you think that it’s undervalued what you can do is you can go and buy a website for maybe a hundred dollars you can put some time into making it look better right making the sales increase and you can go and resell that exact same website on Flippa for a thousand dollars right so if you’re buying something for sixty dollars and selling it for 600 that’s a ten times return and it happens every single day on Flippa by making ugly-looking websites much more beautiful and then adding more traffic and people start to convert more and you get more sales right it’s a very very interesting process and bargain hunting on Flippa is one of the coolest ways to actually start making money online and the number one website to make a hundred dollars online at today with a zero money to start it what’s called GoDaddy auctions there are people out there that make thousands and thousands of dollars and all they do is buy old or expiring domains you know maybe it’s a short domain because with so many web sites now if you can buy a domain that has one or two words or domain that somebody’s willing to pay for that has a lot of brand value for example then people will pay sometimes ten or even a hundred times what you pay if you find the right domain I’ve literally seen people buy domain names that expired or people forgot to renew on GoDaddy auctions for ten dollars and then immediately sell those domains on flippa.com or a hundred dollars or even five hundred or a thousand which is a ruiz de Achilles return on investment and a very easy way to make $100 per day online and in doing this you basically just become the middleman right all you do is just browse the GoDaddy auctions you look for nice-looking domains and what I like to do personally is I actually browse Flippa and I look at what domain names are selling and I look for patterns and I look to see what are people actually paying for and then I used those same patterns and those same strategies that are already proven to get sales from a domain name perspective on Flippa right I look at what’s already selling and then I look at what’s available on GoDaddy auctions and then I buy the things that are similar to what’s already selling right so we try to eliminate the most risk I can and to try to maximize the chances that every purchase that I make is actually going to be a profitable one and all you have to do is just find one hot domain and you can literally make hundreds if not thousands of dollars just on that one purchase if you find the right one alright guys so that is seven different websites to make $100 per day online even if you’re completely broke so if this was useful to you I want you to do me a quick favor because I’m working extremely hard to put out all of this completely free content for you share this video with someone that you think it might be helpful for and if it was helpful to you make sure that you tap that like button and click that red subscribe button turn on a little notification bell so that you can join the notification squad and leave me a comment down below telling me what your favorite of the seven different strategies that we talked about today is and again guys never be the 99% of people that don’t do anything right be the 1% of people who actually take action on what you’ve learned today most people are just gonna close this window and never do a single bit of work but be like that be the 1% that actually takes action guys and I hope you enjoyed these strategies and until next time happy hustling [Music]

where to find these jobs, how much you’ll

Student loan debt is out of control.
We just heard from the Fed that Americans
owe almost $1.6 trillion in student loans,
a little over $37,000 is the average amount
of debt.
And there’s no reason for it.
I’m not saying college isn’t a good idea
or can’t lead to some great opportunities
but the fact is, there has never been a time
to get a high paying job without a college
More than two-in-three jobs out there require
only a high school education and some of them
pay more than you expect.
That’s why I wanted to do this video, researching
the best high paying jobs that don’t require
a college degree.
I’m going to start out showing you a great
tool by the department of labor to find these
jobs then I’ll reveal the 10 best no degree
required jobs.
After that, I’ll show you three secrets
to get any job you want so stick around to
the end of the video because these are going
to work on any job, at any interview.
I spent five years as a labor economist for
the State of Iowa so looking at these jobs,
analyzing growth in different fields and the
high paying jobs that would grow a state economy,
that’s what I did.
I want to show you how to find your next job,
one with no degree required and that pays
$50,000 a year or more.
If you want to look at some of the data we’ll
be talking about, the Department of Labor
has some great resources.
First here is going to be the Occupational
Outlook Handbook at bls.gov/ooh.
This is going to show you education requirements,
salary, job growth and lots of detail about
each job.
Next is the Employment Projects tool, and
this is what we’ll be using first to find
the 10 high paying jobs with no degree requirements.
You go here to bls.gov/projections and click
on the Occupational Projections Data.
You can use each of these filters to change
your search so first we’ll click on this
Typical entry-level education and click on
each of these up to Associate’s Degree,
that’s a two year degree offered at a community
You can check any of these boxes you like
including jobs requiring an associate degree
or those with no educational requirement.
When we look at the 10 highest paying jobs
below, I’m going to include a mix of jobs
that require only a high school education
and a few that require a two-year degree.
We’ll also come over hear and show the wage
information to find jobs with a minimum of
$45,000 a year or higher.
Finally, I’m going to use this Employment
Change box to put in 5 here.
This is the percentage job growth expected
over the decade to 2026.
That’s going to filter our job search for
only those jobs where employment is growing.
This is important but not something a lot
of people think about when they’re looking
at jobs.
The problem is they spend all this time in
a career only to find out that it’s a dying
For example, Milling and Machine Setters,
pays a solid $43,000 a year and there are
no educational requirements.
The problem is, we’re losing jobs every
It’s expected 3,400 of these jobs will be
gone over the next decade.
That’s almost 20% of the people working
in those jobs right now.
I’m also limiting the search to high paying
jobs that make more than the average for an
entry level job with just a high school education.
I want to give you the jobs that are going
to support your family, not have you living
from paycheck to paycheck.
Once you’ve got all these filtered, click
submit to find the jobs.
You can sort the list by any of these columns.
We’ll sort them by annual wages to find
the ones with the highest pay and you can
look to see education requirements and other
You can play around with the list but I wanted
to highlight the 10 highest paying jobs I
found that don’t require a college degree
and have some great growth prospects ahead
of them.
We’ll start out with the lowest paying and
work our way to the top.
Number 10 on our countdown of high paying
jobs no education required is Security and
Fire alarm system installers paying an average
of $47,000 a year.
That’s really good for a job that requires
no more than a high school diploma and some
in the field are making nearly $70,000 a year.
You might need some certificate training or
on-the-job training here but it’s a great
job to get into.
Employment for alarm installers is growing
at 14% a year which is three times the average
job growth so there will always be jobs waiting.
Number 9 on our high paying jobs countdown
is brokerage clerks with an average salary
of almost $53,000 a year and some making over
Now I have to admit, when I was working as
an analyst, we weren’t always so nice to
the clerks.
It can be an intense, high-pressure work environment
but it’s a great way to get into investments
and work your way up into other roles.
You need to know how to use an Excel spreadsheet
to enter stock purchase transactions, track
information for brokers and record-keeping
but it will all be training on the job.
This is another one growing fast and a great
annual salary that only requires a high school
Number 8 on our list of high paying jobs with
little or no education requirements is flight
attendant and an average salary of almost
$53,000 a year . And I want to say I was surprised
at how much flight attendants make but then
I thought of all the crap they have to put
up with from flyers and it kinda makes sense.
There’s a little more training that goes
into this one but it’s all on-the-job and
employment is growing 10% a year, twice the
Number 7 in our jobs countdown is paralegals
and legal assistants making an average of
$54,000 a year up to over $81,000 on something
that only requires a two-year associates degree.
Now here we’re starting to get into the
jobs that are going to take a little more
education but there are still a few that don’t
require a two-year degree.
Paralegals support lawyers with research into
legal cases, preparing legal documents and
even help with putting together a case.
Look, we’re a sue-you, sue-me society and
this job is booming with 15% growth every
Job Number 6 on our countdown of high paying
jobs is a special one for me, my first professional
job while in college was as a commercial real
estate agent and these people can make a lot
more than the average $59,000 you see here
. The best part about being an agent or broker
is that there’s almost no education requirement.
In most states, you sit for a week long class
and take a licensing exam and that’s it.
That doesn’t necessarily mean the job is
easy but with a little drive and motivation,
you’re making a lot of money and there are
always job openings.
Half way through our list of high paying job
with no degree required and number five is
power-line installers making an average of
$69,000 a year.
This was always a hot job when I worked as
an economist.
You’ll need some electrician skills and
training but there is no formal education
like an associates degree.
Most of these jobs are through an apprenticeship
with a union or other licensing group.
Number four on our countdown is probably my
favorite, licensed practical nurses or registered
I studied employment in the healthcare field
and can tell you this is where the growth
Nurses make an average of $73,000 a year and
much higher when you factor in night-pay and
other factors.
There is a huge shortage of nurses in America
and we’re expected to need over 438,000
more in the next ten years.
That’s almost a half million job openings
waiting and the shortage is just going to
keep pushing wages higher.
Education for an LPN is a one-year program
while RNs require a two-year course but that’s
one of the shortest education requirements
I’ve seen for such a great career.
Just three left in our countdown and Number
three here is web developers making an average
of $74,000 with some making well over $122,000
a year . Now this is one of those new world
jobs so the requirements say an associate’s
degree but I’ve met developers with just
a certificate program.
If you’re looking for a corporate job at
a web development company or something like
that, you’d probably need the two-year degree
but otherwise just the certificate program.
Employment growth for developers is 15% a
year, three times the average for all jobs
and 24,000 new jobs are expected to be added
in the next decade.
Second to last in our countdown of highest
paying jobs is dental hygienist paying almost
$75,000 on average.
Here’s another one where you’ll need that
two-year degree but I’d say that’s a small
price to pay for a job that makes about forty-grand
over the average annual salary.
Like a lot of the health care jobs, this one
is growing fast with 20% annual job growth.
The department of labor is expecting we’ll
need 41,000 more dental hygienists over the
next ten years so there’s going to be a
lot of opportunity there.
Finally the top job before we get to those
three secrets to get any job is a radiation
therapist making $85,000 on average and requiring
just that two-year degree.
You’re working closely with patients on
this one so it’s a lot like a nurse where
you’re reviewing prescriptions and treating
people when it comes to their radiation therapy.
We’re expecting 13% annual employment growth
here so thousands of new jobs every single
Take a look at that jobs screener and some
of these high paying jobs with no education
required because these are some great opportunities.
Any one of these has a strong future and pays
way over what most jobs do, even some that
require a college degree.
Now I want to reveal those three secrets to
getting any job you want.
Let’s be real here, you have to be at least
remotely qualified for the job, but if you’re
going after one of these no degree required
jobs then there’s no reason you can’t
get it.
First is to find out as much as you can about
the job.
That means more than just looking at the job
description posted but looking at the occupational
handbook on the BLS site and reading up on
This is going to make it so you can ask the
smart questions at the interview.
It’s going to make you look like you know
exactly what the job needs, like you’re
excited for the job.
Next is to dress appropriately and be early
for the interview.
I’m amazed I have to say this but don’t
wear shorts or jeans to a job interview.
Even if you’d wear casual clothes on the
job, at least put on a pair of khakis and
a button-down shirt.
You’ll lose no points for over-dressing
but under-dressing or looking sloppy will
lose you the job.
Also, we had a saying in the Marine Corps.
If you’re on time then you’re already
five minutes late.
Now you don’t have to be quite as strict
as this but plan on getting there early, just
in case something goes wrong and you’re
later than expected.
Finally here is to try connecting with someone
that works at the company and ask them what
they like about it.
You can do this with a LinkedIn profile and
send out a few messages to get their feedback.
It might feel a little weird at first but
just like that first tip, this is going to
give you the information to ask the smart
You’re trying to show that not only are
you excited about the job but also about working
for that specific company so you want to know
more about it than you might find on the company’s
These three tips will get you at least through
that first interview and that’s usually
all it takes for these no education required

Right here is How Internet sites Develop Money

at long last income school is publishing an income report and our websites as a whole made over a million dollars in the last year it’s awesome for us because we have been working really hard for years to get to this point but just talking about how much income we made doesn’t really help you that much who’s just getting started and so we’ve put a ton of work into answering the question of just how do websites make money because that’s what can actually help you to get started every time I meet someone new or run into somebody I haven’t seen in a while they ask what do you do for work and when I explained to them that I build websites and that I’m a blogger like do you sell a business no I build them for myself myself how do you make money that’s the next question yeah and then the question after that is so are you looking for work no no this is my job I’m a blogger exactly so today we’re going to answer that question how do blogs make money with several examples of different websites that we’ve created alright let’s talk about the first one this is camper report.com this website started two years ago and it makes 63 percent of its money from ads by ads I mean when somebody goes to the website there are a few banner ads graphics that display for different people does that without even having you’ve seen annoying ads that’s not what we’re talking about we’re talking a handful of well-placed no point anything exactly so that’s 63 percent of it and then 37 percent of that comes from affiliate that means that when some when I am referring to a product about campers this is all about RVs and somebody clicks on it and goes to Amazon or whatever other website that I have an affiliate link to that that retailer then gives me a cut of it usually that’s around 4% for Amazon but you could get much higher on other companies the ads are tracking the individual so it says who this guy came to the website this guy has bought a whole bunch of stuff he spends a lot of money on and so I get paid a couple cents more when somebody like that come so that’s why you see ads are big on this one is because people who spend a lot of money on rvs are worth a lot of money to advertise to so that’s where that pie chart comes from so let’s look at how this website has grown in its income over time yes is August 2016 is when it started it’s just two years old two years is it and you can see for the first several months the income is basically zero okay but in the next several months after that I mean at this point this is April 2017 made about five hundred dollars by the end of the summer made over a thousand dollars we saw a little bit of a dip over the winter not a whole lot and then what do we do we placed premium ads on the website if you’re interested in this hockey stick and why it often happens on our website check out this video wherever I go that will talk about how long it takes to rank on Google but essentially you write a chunk of content nothing happens and then once it starts to rank because you wrote it in a short amount of time you just see quick quick quick growth but this is a small website I mean it has over a hundred articles on it but that’s still kind of considered small to us this is a big website this is the way the money comes in we make a little bit from consulting we do some coaching we don’t we’ll talk about this in a few minutes but this is not where we want to see most of the money come from so having it be small is actually what we really really like it makes a little bit from ads mostly from YouTube we don’t actually place many ads on this website in part because a big part of this website is a membership site and we just don’t want the people that have paid too for a membership we just don’t want to be showing ads to them all the time it’s not a good experience so this has been a very small part of this business affiliate is a little bit bigger part compared to those other ones this should be a bigger part and I think in the coming year too it’s gonna be a little bit bigger and then info product slash membership site so a membership site is where you’re paying a subscription to be part of a course a group or whatever ours is project 24 where we teach people how to create websites so on income school that’s what we have for info products we’re selling digital videos that you’re you’re paying for access to exactly alright so that’s a big site this is a small site this is a really really really big site with thousands of articles that I’ve been building up for ten years and you’ll see that this one is much better diversified than anything else on the board that’s years of work but it’s very intentional work that’s what I would love to see us get to on all of our websites because then when something dies out internet things change you have income improve photography.com gets 30% of the income from info products and digital tools this is you know you pay $15 for this downloadable video course or these Lightroom presets or whatever you download it one time and you’re gone next I’ll go to job 2 membership because it’s also an info product you’re paying for a video but this is where you’re paying every month to get access to a library of videos 26% is ads Affiliate is 18 and I also have an an iOS app that I that makes about 2% of the income so that’s improved photography diversification is beautiful but usually when you’re just first building a website you can waste a ton of time trying to diversify very low traffic and so when our site is newer it’s probably gonna look more like this exactly and no two web sites are going to look exactly the same I mean we have another example down here of dirt bike planet that does have an info product practicing my weather may have exact it’s very much like a camper report type website but it has an an e-book type product and again the and the balance between affiliate and ads is gonna differ a little bit that’s really normal but again there’s just another example of what it might look like other types of websites are gonna have other types of monetization if you were to do a website about insurance you might have lead generation where essentially you’re finding the exact perfect audience for that industry and then you’re selling their information to to another company you’re providing those leads to the company so an insurance company might pay you for leads of people they can call her they can email to try to sell insurance yeah and and when you look at this it can be deceptive to think oh this is how bloggers in general make money right but there are so many different ways to make money from traffic to a website and that’s this side of the board yes our monetization hierarchy and it is muddy clear perfect yeah but when we’re looking at audience and audiences generally we say if we can do this type of monetization then I don’t want to do that type of monetization exactly kind of in an order at the top of the list membership sites membership sites are awesome because you just get that recurring income month after month so you see a more stable income and as long as you can continuously provide value to the user you have a really just stable and sizeable income yeah so the thing that I might add to that about membership sites is it seems like three I make one sale and then haha for the next five years I get income from them it doesn’t really work that way when you get somebody signed up for a membership it means you’re working for them you want to continually make that product better and better so they stay and so it is a lot of work but because it scales so well it’s just a great business and that’s a great point is it everything here for the most for the most part there’s some at the bottom that don’t most everything here scales really well so whether you sell one or a thousand the work on your end is about the same so that’s the case here with info product just kind of the one-time download info products that could be an e-book it could be a course an audio guide whatever it is you know again whether you sell one or you sell a thousand you have about the same amount of work and we love info products if I can get somebody to stay then great membership would be a little bit better but not all topics really are conducive to a membership site so info products are fantastic next is a digital tool digital tool is such a cool opportunity and I think it’s underutilized by internet marketers I’ve been selling on improved photography a huge product for us has been selling Lightroom presets it’s like a filter for your photo to make it go from this with one click of the button but you could if you’re in finance you could sell an excel sheet that’s a calculator for this or that you could make an actual piece of software and have people paying monthly for it you could have a recurring income from it Digital tools are a huge opportunity and sometimes looking at some of those out-of-the-box opportunities like selling an excel sheet can work really well some DIY project type websites do a pretty good job of that blueprint right they’ll tell you you know here’s a cool thing you could make here’s all the tools you need but if you want the drawings with all the measurements and everything ready for you with a template here you go it’s 10 bucks people buy that like crazy next is advertising and affiliates we’ve talked about those before those are things the one thing that I want to add to advertising is that as the when the traffic hits certain benchmarks the income jumps not go just going from no ads to ads but because you can get to the premium ad brokers where you just make more money per thousand people that come to your website often that number is around $13 that for every thousand people that come to the website you make $13 from ads affiliates Amazon is a huge one which we’re going to talk about later but here we’re talking about other affiliate programs and with the other affiliate programs we actually do place it pretty close to on par with advertising I love advertising because it really is just kind of turn it on and let it go with affiliate links there is always going to be a little bit of upkeep you have to make sure that the link hasn’t changed that the product still exists over time it’s you’re gonna run into that kind of stuff but not that much a lot of affiliate products are just fantastic products with really good commissions and that sell really well and so I don’t know I love it I think that a lot of affiliate programs outside of Amazon are very underutilized and we need to see a lot more and speaking of that the next is lead generation this is somebody that comes to your website you get their and their email address knowing they’re interested in this and then pass it to a company that’s in that industry that can knows how to monetize that person this is somewhere where we have not done nearly enough we have a website coming up that we’re working on we’re working on keyword research right now that will be like 100% focused on this but it’s a great opportunity we just haven’t done much of it yep then Amazon we consider a little bit lower just given the Commission’s and then the last two are physical products just because you got a deal with inventory in life yeah that’s like you you make a product or you source a product and then you sell that product that I mean you’ve created a job for yourself that doesn’t scale without you having to hire more people or just devote every waking moment to it yeah it’s a great business it’s just if I could just sell you an info product and be done all right further and that’s the same thing with consulting there’s only so many hours in the day that you can consult for somebody so unless you can just keep increasing your fee more and more and more your income really can’t grow beyond a certain point like right here yes consulting is one percent of income school used to be a consult with us was like 60 bucks and now it’s nine hundred dollars yes every time it grows too much we just increase the price because that’s not something we want to build huge even though we do still want to be able to offer it for those who need it that’s how your favorite website that makes money there are a ton of different ways to make money the real trick is how do you get the audience and that’s what the rest of this entire YouTube channel is about getting the audience to your website so check it out we have a ton of resources for you here at income school

numerous time with him till I used to be 14, 15, after I
labored within the liquor retailer that he began working
at for $2.00 an hour as a inventory boy and ultimately
saved all his cash and acquired a retailer in
Springfield, New Jersey. I used to be a product of the
1980’s, and 1990’s in America, which I believe when folks look again on would be the golden period of training and what faculty you
went to principally meant who you had been gonna be on the earth. Within the face of training
being the one method out within the 80s and 90s
particularly for an immigrant. My mom created a framework that allowed my to flourish towards my very own DNA. My self consciousness, who I used to be, which was a D and F pupil. The worst grades that
you could possibly get at school but additionally was a baby that
on summer season day holidays or when it snowed, or
no matter was occurring, I used to be all the time trying
to be an entrepreneur. If it snowed in New Jersey, I used to be ringing doorbells trying
to get cash to shovel snow. If it was sizzling exterior, I used to be organising a lemonade
stand to promote lemonade. From the start of my life, I used to be put able, fortunately based mostly on the place I used to be
and who was parenting me, to really lean into my strengths, and the issues that I
was enthusiastic about. It’s extremely fascinating
what I am truly considering whereas I stand right here, which is, right here we’re 20 years, 30
years later, from that boy, the place now entrepreneurship
offers me the luxurious, offers me the dignity to return to
all locations world wide and folks deal with me with admiration and respect and kindness. Satirically, the explosion
of entrepreneurship, and occasions like this
and actions like this, do not excite me as a lot
as most individuals suppose. I after all, am a pupil, a product, and a humongous advocate
of entrepreneurship. Nonetheless, that’s fully secondary to my ardour round self
consciousness and happiness. It’s my nice concern, that
the framework, the world, that has put me on a
pedestal, entrepreneurship, goes to blind a few of you on this room who’re truly unbelievably succesful to be a quantity two, a quantity
three, a quantity seven, inside a corporation, however imagine within the hype, that the one strategy to
win, or extra importantly, what’s cool now, is to be a founder. I encourage each single
individual right here who has the abdomen and the mindset for entrepreneurship, however I implore you, when you take something from my keynote right now, please go dwelling and look
your self within the mirror and begin having unbelievably sincere conversations with your self, about who you might be, versus
who you want you had been. At present entrepreneurship, in 2018, 2019, the world over, is placed on a pedestal. I promise you, right now I stroll
into an occasion like this and all people needs a selfie, and I get handled this
method, and it is unbelievable, however I promise you as I stand right here, I’m very mentally ready for 2027, when the worldwide economic system collapses and I begin getting blamed for instructing or telling
you to do entrepreneurship when your startup failed. For me, that is my life. When it wasn’t cool. Now whereas it is cool, and in a decade when
it will not be cool once more. I would like that for you, as a result of if you do what
you had been meant to do, if you’re capable of put
two fingers in your ears and listen to nothing. Not the hate or the negativity, however equally, not the
admiration and the accolades, you are enjoying inside your self. You are enjoying inside your self. My nice concern, my nice concern world wide is how many individuals listed below are
not enjoying for themselves? They’re enjoying for his or her dad and mom. They’re enjoying for his or her buddies. The issues they purchase,
the issues they begin, the way in which they stay, are predicated on different folks’s opinions. Not themselves. I am not coming right here to
begin with a buzzkill, however I additionally don’t need to be delusional to the truth of the scenario. To construct a significant firm
takes a really very long time, could be very troublesome, and extra importantly, what has occurred in
the startup neighborhood. All these great startups again there, all people now’s pandering
to enterprise capital or to elevating capital. To not truly constructing a enterprise. Each day. Thanks. It is necessary. Thanks a lot for leaping on that. It is necessary, as a result of
let me inform you why in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, I used to be taking all of my cash and investing in Tumblr and Fb and Twitter and Uber, and all this stuff that
I did very nicely with, and why during the last 4 years, I’ve invested little or no, very rigorously, as a result of there is a disconnect proper now, and there is illusions of the truth. In case you stand right here or sit right here right now and there’s nothing that
you could possibly take into consideration apart from constructing a enterprise, as a result of the method of
constructing a enterprise, is your happiness. Not what a profitable
enterprise means that you can purchase. Nicely then you definitely’re a pure
bread entrepreneur. Any person requested me right now in an interview, what do I do with my downtime? I advised them that I begin different companies. It is all I do know. It is who I’m. It is the identical method after I see a instructor, or an artist, or anyone. After I can see by their soul, that they had been meant to
prepare dinner, or paint, or construct, or no matter it might be. I get such happiness. It is the identical purpose that folks
that I went to highschool with who make $53,00Zero a yr,
however I do know they’re so glad, as a result of it is what they need. They need to be dwelling at 5:00 PM. They need to be on a number of sports activities groups. They need each weekend off. They do not need the strain. Let me discuss strain actual fast. Can I inform you why I stand right here on this unbelievable occasion, the place entrepreneurship is
being placed on this pedestal, one thing I dreamed of my entire life, that may ultimately be cool, and I begin my dialog with heavy ranges of practicality, it’s as a result of that is
the factor I most concern. When the final regime, faculty, had its day, you could possibly get good grades. Faux surroundings. Very straightforward to control. You may go work in an organization, and if that firm fired
you or did not do nicely, you had any person responsible. You didn’t must take
any of the accountability, or have the scarlet letter of shedding since you had been a part of a machine. The best factor about being
a CEO founder entrepreneur, is that when there’s success, you get a disproportionate
quantity of the credit score. The issue with entrepreneurship, is when it fails, you
have no person responsible. One of many issues that
I am most anxious about is if you find yourself a purebred entrepreneur, you do not care about shedding. The method is your faith. Working the corporate is your oxygen. If you find yourself not, and also you’re doing it for everyone else, or as a result of it is cool, if you fail, you’ll
haven’t any place to cover, and your loss might be very
public and unavoidable. The rationale I put a lot strain
on folks being self conscious is when you’re a pure
quantity two, six, 13, or 27, the negatives of being a primary, are overwhelming and really
troublesome to quantify. It’s important to ask your self right now, that when what you are promoting fails, are you okay with the judgment
of your loved ones, buddies, your social media followers,
and your entire world, and if you’re, then you definitely
can transfer in your merry method, however if you’re not, one of many nice ramifications of this golden period of entrepreneurship, goes to be the large
quantity of melancholy and psychological sickness when
99% of the companies fail. That considerations me. (viewers applause) My buddies, please do not misunderstand me. I do not rise up right here and say, I am an entrepreneur, you are not. I say, that what this
phenomenon has taught me, the place I can go to essentially the most
wonderful locations on Earth and many individuals know who I’m is that my timing for
what I beloved, labored out. I take no satisfaction in that. I perceive that it is circumstantial, however I additionally know, that this is the reason I am so determined so that you can stick with your
weapons round your ardour. Possibly you truly love
enjoying video video games greater than beginning an app firm. After I was rising up, enjoying video video games was a waste of time. At present, I believe we are able to all agree, knowledgeable e-sports
celebrity for the following 50 years, in all probability behind correct
soccer and basketball goes to be the most important
athlete in our world. That is nothing you could possibly see seven or 10 years in the past. It’s essential to, you need to,
you owe it to your self, to just be sure you’re
constructing an organization round what you’re keen on. Not as a result of cryptocurrency
is the present fad. Once you chase cash, you lose. At all times and perpetually, even
if you obtain the cash. That is how people are wired, and so now we have to have dramatically extra considerate conversations, round entrepreneurship, begin up tradition, and what’s truly
occurring on the earth, as a result of proper now, a lot of the unicorns, are simply rhinoceroses in disguise. (viewers applause) Please do not get it confused. I like each different individual, have my egocentric needs and desires. That final assertion, that was egocentric. D-Rock, the place you at? I did that proper now. The unicorn for
rhinoceroses for one purpose. I do know that 95% of the
profitable web corporations that all of us placed on a pedestal, are so over leveraged, towards the truth of their enterprise, that when there’s an
financial decelerate or collapse and so they cannot elevate capital, towards a ridiculous
valuation, they are going to disappear. Not as a result of I am good. It is as a result of I am previous. The one beauty of being 43, is I’ve lived by three collapses. Lots of people suppose. How many individuals right here underneath 32 years previous? Elevate your palms. Geez. (viewers laughing) The most important reward and the
largest vulnerability is that you just’re 32. The most important factor that, there are such a lot of issues
operating by my thoughts. Primary, one of many
most fascinating issues operating by my thoughts, trying on the NIMEA space, and North
Africa, the Center East, it is devastating to me, how a lot of the younger expertise right here thinks they should go to America or different locations to realize their objectives when there’s a lot alternative. (viewers applause) I imply it, and when you’re like me,
and you’re keen on your loved ones, I wasn’t even prepared
to maneuver to Los Angeles, as a result of I wanted to be
near my mother and pop. The considered going to
one other a part of the world when the disproportionate alternative is doubling down in your
area is fascinating to me. It is a credit score to the
factor I most care about which is model constructing. America’s nice achievement
within the final 100 years is utilizing Hollywood to construct its model. Please don’t get confused. There’s a lot alternative inside a sq. mile of your property, not to mention the remainder of the area, that you don’t want to be naive and suppose you want to go
someplace to realize your objectives, as a result of I am jealous that I am not underneath 32 sitting right here with the outlook that I’ve. Once you take a look at the cellular penetration. The share of the youth. Once you simply take a look at
the sheer alternative that’s within the normal
area, it is extraordinary. Too many individuals underestimate
what’s in entrance of them and over estimate what’s exterior of them. I imply it. (viewers applause) Let’s bounce round just a little bit. I am gonna take it to a
barely completely different route, as a result of I believe it is unbelievably inherent to so many individuals on this room. I typically imagine, and by the way in which, not
all people ought to do video. Not all people ought to do video. Have any person following
them round with a digicam. Not all people ought to do video. Nonetheless, when you’re
sitting right here within the room, entrance row, final individual again there, if you’re not producing content material for the world on the web, whether or not that is as a result of
you are an amazing author, and you’ll write by yourself weblog, on Medium, on LinkedIn, on Fb. Footage since you’re
unbelievably visible. You’ll be able to take a ravishing photograph after which write an exquisite
three or 4 sentences in your Instagram publish. In case you’re stunningly
good-looking and charismatic, and you are able to do video, please, however if you’re nice at speaking, however uncomfortable in entrance of a digicam and it’s a must to do audio in podcast kind, please perceive my
largest reality right here right now which is if you’re not
sharing your ideas, your course of, your journey, your progress to attaining your objectives, the tales you need to inform about your startup, product, service. In case you are not speaking to the world and when you’re not occupied with what’s invaluable to them, not what’s invaluable to you, if you talk, and
that may be a very large level. I will say it another time. In case you are not speaking to the world, and if you’re speaking. In case you’re not occupied with
what’s invaluable to them versus what you are
placing out for your self, you might be principally
irrelevant in a 2019 world. As a lot as it might be troublesome
for a lot of on this room, if you’re not residing by right here, you aren’t identified. That is the sport. Sadly or thankfully, I do not know the way you
see know-how advances. I will shock you. I am not so professional know-how revolutions. I am simply sensible. My buddies, at 18 years previous, me, at 18 years previous, had spent lower than
two hours on a pc in my total life. I’m not fascinated by know-how in any respect. 3-D printing. I do not care when you make 80%
of your houses 3D printed. I am not enthusiastic about that. VR, AR, Blockchain, all of it. Probably not passionate to me. I am enthusiastic about communication, and that is the place this occurs. In case you are underestimating this, and after I say underestimating this, in case you have not made a
vital dedication to producing content material for
the certainly one of seven apps or web sites that 80% of this whole area spends a disproportionate period of time penetrating, and listening, and consuming, you might be turning into vastly,
vastly, irrelevant. In case you go away with something from this speak, primary, please lean
in to self consciousness. There’s a lot delusion
operating by this convention and this area and this world, it is devastating, as a result of
it is not going to finish nicely. Quantity two, when you
set up that self consciousness, you need to converse. All people speaks otherwise. Via photos, phrases, audio, video, however you need to converse. It’s essential to converse as a result of that’s completely the leverage that you just sit with. We’re sitting within the time proper now the place throughout this area, there’s a lot alternative. There’s a lot consideration in a YouTube, Snapchat, Instagram,
Fb, Twitter world. It is unparalleled. There’s by no means been a time
the place each individual on this room with no person within the center, has the power to
attain anyone they need. My buddies, truly what number of
folks over 40 on this room? Elevate your palms. Over 40. I want, and I am positive, I am a bunch of you proper now. There’s a full misunderstanding of the disproportionate alternative that everyone on this room has. All of us who’re over 40 goals that we entered a world
with this many choices. We had been caught within the machine, the place there’s one or two paths. There was no choices. You might be crippled by choices. You might be crippled by choices, which now leads me to a very powerful a part of this dialog. The primary factor that
I take into consideration day-after-day is why do folks stay their lives, based mostly on different folks’s opinions? The primary factor that
I actually need to have. How many individuals right here underneath 30? Another time. Elevate your palms. The primary factor I want for everyone who simply raised their hand, is my potential to spend a two hour dinner together with your dad and mom. In that dinner could be the
most fascinating perception. Particularly areas like this. It’s fascinating how
many individuals are coping with the pressures of what
their dad and mom need them to do. Versus what you need to do. (viewers applause) Woo is true, and the explanation you are wooing, and the explanation that I am most fascinated, is I’m fascinated by watching dad and mom father or mother their kids within the precise method that they hated their
dad and mom parented them. (viewers applause) It is exceptional to observe. You’d suppose any person who was pressured to go to College and change into a physician, lawyer, engineer, banker, all that ache and anguish
that these years created. You’d suppose that they had been able to not repeating it, however the issue is the
nice perception of my life is what number of dad and mom father or mother their kids solely and 100% based mostly on
what different dad and mom take into consideration their kids. That is a very powerful
matter on this area. In a world, particularly to this area, the place there’s a lot alternative. The paradigm shift that’s wanted is one on the parenting degree to create the liberty for youngsters to have the ability to change into glad. Not examine the field of what
they’re alleged to do. (viewers applause) Now, earlier than all of the 30
yr olds clap and say, hell yeah Gary, earlier than that, there’s one a part of the equation for all the kids which are
so proud of this framework. In case you take your dad and mom
cash, they’re in cost. (viewers applause) I really like to speak about, it is best to go do your factor. You must stay your life for you. I am passionate and I imagine this. That I a lot relatively most of
you may have two or three years the place you are preventing together with your dad and mom, however then have 50 years of happiness, since you’re not residing with remorse. I am enthusiastic about that. The issue is, I have been blown away, by what number of youngsters suppose they
can go begin their very own firm whereas their dad and mom pay
for his or her life-style. You both stay in your
personal two ft or you don’t. (viewers applause) 99% of the startups again there’ll fail. 99, 97. The quantity of those that
ever obtain a enterprise that there is a million
{dollars} a yr in income is sort of non existent. But, we stay in a world now, the place all people thinks 50% of individuals are going to construct a
billion greenback firm. Optimism is foundational
for entrepreneurship. Until you might be blindly
optimistic of your thought you may by no means get it off the bottom, as a result of every part round you’ll say no. Delusion is the good vulnerability of begins ups and entrepreneurs. Being sensible and real looking
and being optimistic could be very possible. Sadly it’s uncommon. If I might ask something, how many individuals right here have a
startup, or are an entrepreneur? Elevate your palms. If I might ask something of these, please begin changing what you are promoting into one thing that really makes cash. Not is within the want of funding, as a result of if you take a look at the framework of what is occurring globally, we will not survive this for much longer, being this globally over leveraged, and when it falls, it falls exhausting. It fell exhausting in 2007 and 2008. You guys know. It fell exhausting in 2001. It falls exhausting and that is essentially the most over leveraged we have ever been. Please, when you go away with something, moreover self consciousness, please go away with am I
ready to show my enterprise into one thing that generates revenue? Not is checking the field
for the quantity of customers or CAT or LTV, or month-to-month downloads, or all of the issues that
enterprise capitalists, and funding need you to do. In a sport the place these folks
are enjoying a quite simple sport. It’s important to perceive
what investing is about. They should push each one
of their merchandise very exhausting, as a result of if one will get by, it pays for everyone else. The issue is when you’re
one who obtained pushed too exhausting and did not construct an precise enterprise, you did not win. The fund gained, as a result of one of many 50 corporations did. We’d like a name to practicality. We’d like a name to
practicality in our ecosystem as a result of with out it, the
final result is all the time ugly. Additionally if you’ve had such
an extended interval of worldwide, and I do know there’s completely different
markets and I perceive, however international prosperity at this degree with none fiscal accountability. Only a matter of time. My name this morning, this afternoon, is a pair issues. Is that this actually the sport you need to play? As a result of let me remind you, I am awfully jealous. Loads of my buddies who’re
quantity three, seven, 20, and 41 at Fb and Uber and
all the opposite corporations that did nicely. Quantity two, how sensible
is what you are promoting? Have you ever succumb to the
jargon of begin up world? The place every part is about
customers and viewability and CAT and all these phrases that
don’t have anything to do with are you making more cash than you are shedding each month? Let me inform you how a lot expertise it takes to lose cash each month constantly. Zero. It takes zero expertise to lose tens if not a whole lot of 1000’s
of {dollars} each month whilst you’re constructing to your exit. It appears to be like good on a chart, besides the chart is not actual. What does that lead me to? That leads me to the chance. I am gonna get very sensible with you. In case you as an individual otherwise you as a enterprise, usually are not shopping for Instagram story advertisements, on this area proper now. Proper now, on this area, UAE, throughout the Center East, North Africa, if you’re not doing
that proper this second, you’re making an unlimited mistake. I’m the bi-product of shopping for underneath priced advertisements my entire profession. My dad’s liquor retailer, that I grew from 30 to 60 million {dollars} in 5 years with no cash, is as a result of Google Adwords
had been 5 cents a click on and no person else was shopping for them. I Gary V, the character, was as a result of I used to be shopping for advertisements on Twitter after they had been underneath priced, then YouTube, and at the moment right now, on Instagram tales. On this Arabic Gary V. account, if you wish to go take a look at any web site that exhibits the graph of progress. That is very meta. That is unbelievable timing. That is my largest thesis. I see numerous you shaking your head. Which means you eat my content material. Below priced consideration. Shopping for advertisements. However that is in all probability the
most excited I’ve ever been to speak about it, as a result of this account, Arabic Gary V. actually, actually 10 days in the past had 700 followers. It now has 30,00Zero followers. It had nothing to do with
me being within the area. How a lot? 42,000. Thanks brother. (viewers applause) Do not clap. Clap for your self if you do what I did. From 700 to 42,00Zero on one factor. We discovered on Instagram tales, a bit of content material from a
quote or two that I had, transformed into Arabic. Purchased throughout Arabic talking
folks the world over, the place I’m changing
followers for 1.9 cents. In case you’ve been within the advert sport, I might be thrilled for 1.9 cent impressions. I might lose my thoughts
for 1.9 cent engagement which might be a like or passing it on. To have the ability to get to 1.9
cent followers is ludicrous. I’ve by no means seen it. When my teen texted me every week in the past and stated bizarre, now we have some information. Your Arabic web page is exploding. We discovered 1.9 cent followers. I replied and advised them to
spend all of my cash on it. All of it. You and that is very meta, you, will watch my
notoriety on this area over the following 9 months,
undergo the roof. This is why. Regardless that I simply advised
all of you to do it, 99% of you’ll not. That is the story of my life. Regardless that I simply advised you, 99% of you, that the primary underneath
priced transfer within the area, no matter what you are promoting, is to purchase Instagram story advertisements and make numerous completely different content material till you discover one thing
that is working for you. I’m satisfied out of the
final 10 years of my life that 99% of you’ll not
do something about it. Which can permit me to maintain attaining very underneath priced consideration. If solely half of you began to run significant advertisements on Instagram
tales on this area, that worth would triple or quadruple. That is the good fascination of my life. Even when advised, verbatim,
black and white, in your face, precisely what to do, one way or the other
miraculously, you’ll not. – [Man] I’ll! – You promise? Arise. Let’s clap it up for him! (viewers applause) He’ll! Now let’s clap it up for his shirt. Take a look at that shirt. Clap it up. I like that. It is actually fascinating. That’s what’s occurring, and that’s the nice misnomer. That’s the nice alternative. That’s the nice vulnerability. We take a look at the previous and
put it on a pedestal and we take a look at the present and the longer term and we demonize it. I am fascinated by that. We take a look at know-how advances and we demonize it. But, it’s the solely place we’re going. In America, a really large pattern, particularly for prosperous
dad and mom on the coasts is to restrict the time their
kids are on know-how. I would like my kids to
solely stay on know-how. Thanks Mother. The rationale I do this, is as a result of that is the world
my youngsters are gonna stay in. The horses usually are not coming again. I’m fascinated by folks’s lack of ability to lean into the present. Who calls anyone anymore? How many individuals right here, inform
the reality by present of palms, get mad when any person
truly calls them now. Elevate your hand. Arise. Arise if that is. Arise, please. I simply need you to face up. I need to see this visible. Arise. I am gonna provide you with one other second. Do not lie. Arise if you’re truly bothered by any person calling you. Arise. Inform the reality. Go searching. All people go searching. This was the commonest
method we talked six years in the past. Please sit. We’re now actually,
if any person calls you, you take a look at it and you are like, howdy, Mother, why are you calling me? It is because the primary factor that I commerce on is time. Friction is the most important vulnerability. For lots of people in
the web enterprise this is the reason UX, UI, design, all these things issues a lot. Any friction you trigger is devastating. The second wi-fi is a
hundredth of a second slower than you are used to. You might be devastated. Voice goes to be the following frontier, and the identical method that everyone right here used to name however now texts, as a result of time is so invaluable, and it’s truly widespread courtesy to why you are not calling. Calling any person now with out
telling them you are calling is an invasion on their time. Quickly voice will change that. In case you actually need to be
on the cusp of what is subsequent, I genuinely imagine that Alexa, and Google House and voice activated UI, goes to be unbelievably highly effective. It’s a very very vibrant place. It’s. That is one place to speak
and take note of, however this all rounds as much as
a quite simple dialog which is when you look
on the historical past of time for entrepreneurship, for the human race, there’s all results in one
highway which is timing. Timing. It is unbelievable how a lot timing performs a consider all of this. So many individuals again
there and in your heads are enjoying an excessive amount of sooner or later. Three years in the past all my buddies spend all their cash
on VR, digital actuality. In the meantime I did not know one one who spent an hour on digital actuality a month constantly. So many individuals speak
in regards to the future timing. After all AR, machine studying, VR, all these things is coming, however till you see it with actual folks it is an unlimited leap, and also you’re gonna get your timing incorrect. On the identical token, the issues I am enthusiastic about. After I discuss Fb
or Instagram or Snapchat it is just as a result of it is present. In 4 years I’ll
sit on levels like this and I’ll snigger at all people right here shopping for Instagram story advertisements, as a result of the market will catch up and thus it is going to change into overvalued. Each demand for the advertisements will rise. So the worth will go up, and you will cease paying consideration, as a result of extra advertisements will present up. This timing, this buying and selling, this pulse, is the one most necessary factor, when you perceive who you might be. Please begin paying a lot greater consideration to client’s behaviors, to timing. I used to be interviewed proper
earlier than I got here up right here and the lady stated, who do you take note of? Who do you hearken to? I stated no person. I do not learn books. I do not hearken to podcasts. All I do is learn you. Tonight, after I’m on the
airport on my method dwelling, I am going to have a look at the
hashtag of this occasion and I am gonna see what you needed to say in regards to the occasion. I am gonna see what you
needed to say about me. In regards to the opening keynote. After. I eat you. If you wish to win in a client product. Not B to B. If you wish to win in a client product, I extremely advocate you
begin coaching your self to learn the buyer. Not a thought chief’s level
of view on the buyer. I might far want, that you just learn each
remark about your content material and your house’s content material, versus watching my content material. Each day of the week. The rationale I’ve had
such a profitable profession is as a result of I do not guess. I do the work. Then I execute. Then I discuss it rapidly. That’s my profession. The truth that we now stay in a world the place client’s perspective, opinions, are being posted instantly
in actual time is exceptional. Have you learnt how many individuals right here need to construct extra
followers and affect, but do not reply to the
feedback on their posts? The sheer audacity, that you just need to get
greater with the world, but, you do not have the time, to answer or thank the 13 those that give a crap about
you now, is laughable. The quickest method I do know any person’s not on their strategy to being an influencer, relies on their habits
with their neighborhood publicly. Please make investments again into the
those that spend money on you. (viewers applause) I do not know when you heard, however the actuality of being a human being, in response to fashionable science, is 400 trillion to at least one. In case you observe me for
the final couple years, you understand I am obsessive about this, as a result of I can not wrap my head round it. As any person who likes math
as a lot as they like artwork, the sheer thought that
it’s 400 trillion to at least one to change into a human being, is sort of troublesome for me to swallow and leads me to my remaining
level which is mindset. In case you are sitting right here, and you aren’t pushed 100% on gratitude, you might be misunderstanding
how unimaginable it’s to even be a human being. The truth that you could possibly have been a rhinoceros or a tree or a ladybug, it’s so exceptional to me how
folks haven’t quantified essentially the most primary factor. How I sit right here, I stand
proper right here in entrance of you pushed 100% on gratitude. I’m so grateful to even get
the prospect to do something. Not to mention what I am doing. I promise you, if you
get up each morning, you do not want a meditation pod. You do not want a e book. You do not want a podcast. You do not want me. In case you get up and
truly say to your self, the probability of me having a life is extra uncommon than getting
struck by lightning 10 instances, you’ll put life in
perspective in a short time. Dwelling or complaining or
crying about what you do not have versus understanding and
leaning into what you do have, is precisely the identical method that I perceive that I want all of you knew, how a lot better it could
be to construct a enterprise right here than to maneuver to Silicon Valley. (viewers applause) There is not any cash. There is not any accolades. There is not any awards. There is not any quantity of followers that may subsidize precise happiness. Precise happiness begins very inside. It begins with the way you see the world, after which leads into who
